I was weeding the garden yesterday, stood up and my pants fell down to my ankles. Ooops!!! Luckily I was alone. On the last notch on my belt.

So sorry I missed your post mp8btpc but I have been kinda out of it lately. I hope things are getting better and you make the best decision for you. Remember, everything happens for a reason and when one door closes another one opens. (I know, it's sooooo.... cliche but it's true). Your buddy, Will -
I am officially sleeved!
citizenwill replied to citizenwill's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Thanks. Well I made it home last night at midnight. My ass is sore from sitting all day yesterday. Today I feel a little barfy. I think that is from my pills though nothing more. My babies (doggies) were so happy to see me they have been stuck to me ever since. I LOST 8 LBS ALREADY!!! It's been 5 days and I have already lost weight! wow.... I feel fortunate that my surgery went well and my experience was positive. I feel bad for the people who are not having such an easy time of it. Or had bad experiences and I really want to let them know I don't want them to feel bad. Now I have to do some fast talking for all my friends and family who didn't know where the hell I disappeared to for 5 days. lol... Love you guys! Will -

I already requested the wheelchair for the flight. If I don't need it I will definitely be request preboarding. Thanks for the tip about the PPI Les. I emailed my partner to grab me some for when I get back. I'm just chilling in the hotel today. Not up to much adventuring, just R&R. It took about 2 and a half days for me to feel way better. I never thought the discomfort would end. And was wondering what the hell I had done to myself. lol... Once they took that awful drain tube out things really started improving. I'm glad I took the extra day. I should be well rested up for the trip back tomorrow. I got lots of gossip rags for the trip. Plus flying knocks me out immediately so I should end up sleeping most of the way. Thank you all for your well wishes and thoughts. Peace. Will -

Hi Krystl This is their website http://www.belitemexico.com/ I went through one of the coordinators, Joanne. They run a 5999 special with Dr. Osuna and Ortega. Reqular price is 6700 Everything is great here. I was actually suspicious because it was to clean and sterile. Staff is really friendly and attentive and the doctors are always around. Good luck on your journey. Will -

Yeah this gas is horrible. I've been walking steady all day today. Dr. Osuna said the extreme hunger feeling is probably acid. I hope it goes away it was bumming me out earlier. I was praying it wouldn't feel like this forever. Cheers! Will -

Hey where you the blonde lady standing at the counter? Talking to Lopez. I am the guy in the room right across from the reception desk. I am wearing a re t-shirt schlepping an IV pole around. My night nurse didn't speak any english so you may want to bring a translation dictionary. I am really suprised no one on this board has mentioned this place because it's awesome. Will -

How much non-surgical shrinkage is possible?

I'll take saggy skin as long as I lose my man boobs! It's either wls or buying a bra. Luckily I have oily native american skin so there is hope things will snap back. I saw a really cool tattoo someone had on their appendectomy scar. It was a closed zipper. Might look cool on stretch marks. Will -

Interesting. The lesser of two evils I guess. I can't find anything negative on her yet. Will -
Reading Protein Powder labels
citizenwill replied to citizenwill's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
I think what is confusing is I have been looking at the powder weight lifter stuff. Wyder, etc. When I looked at the ingredients they list a 1000 items and it just got confusing. I'll focus only looking for the Protein, carbs, and calories. Or should I just worry about the amount of Protein and carbs? I'll see if I can snag all the Atkins stuff before someone else gets to it. Otherwise it could be months before the next shipment. Oh, and I am going to get the online samples ordered today. Thanks for all the great stuff. Will -

Thanks for the tip Les. I never even thought of doing that! lol I was actually born up here and came back to take care of my elderly mom. I had lived in Vancouver, SF, Palm Springs and then back up here. I love it up here except for the shopping thing. Will -
Yes Dorothy there are Fairies in the Arctic!
citizenwill replied to citizenwill's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Thanks! I saw that post your referring to already. Seems like there is to much stuff left to go wrong with. I think it's called stomach plication or the super sleeve. A couple of people on the board have posted about it. I would be to scared I would rip the stitches out from stuffing my face to much (give me an inch and I will take a mile). lol... Yeah it might be good to mention it to your friend. It sucks being gay and single. Gay single and overweight is doubly worse. He should do it while he's young and still has his youth to enjoy it. Thanks for the quick reply. Buying online is not a option cause it takes 3-4 weeks to get anything delivered up here. lol.. I might order some and hope they get here by postop. I checked out some of the powder stuff and looked at the ingredients label and go totally confused. I'll check out your thread though. Will -
Yes Dorothy there are Fairies in the Arctic!
citizenwill replied to citizenwill's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Thanks for responding. Yes. I considered Aceves but it comes down to price. The airfare from here to there costs almost as much as surgery itself. So, I have narrowed it down to 3 affordable surgeons. Plus my BMI is not as I as some so I am not in the high risk group. I'm a quick healer and considered still healthy. Plus I don't need all the fluff and coddling after surgery so lower cost and no frills is my goal. I think it sucks that gay men put so much emphasis on weight and looks. We fat gay dudes get a double wammy there. I noticed when I was 100lbs lighter I used to get cruised like crazy. Now I'm lucky if they'll tell me the time. lol.. Thank god I have a loving supportive partner so I'm not on the market anymore. Will -

Hi, I have been mostly a lurker but have posted a couple of times. I am going to be sleeved in early July by either Dr. Ortega or Alcavez (haven't made up my mind yet). I have a couple of questions I hope I can find a answer to. I take a couple of necessary medication that must be taken with food. Will I be able to do this the after surgery during my liquid phase? I also take numerous Vitamins including a Multivitamin that make me feel barfy unless I have food in my stomach. Will this improve any? Also, I keep hearing about this gas problem. I will have a 14 hour flight after the surgery. Is there anything I should bring with me so I don't gas out the people on the plane? I am hoping having surgery will help with my sensitive stomach and my need to stuff my face all the time to avoid nausea. Any information will be helpful. Thank you. Will
