I'm lactose intolerant so no ice cream for me. I just hate sugar free jello so I eat regular jello. I don't eat it all the time and I can't finish a whole one anyway. Everything that went down was a band favorite off me lol

I'm on full liquids till Tuesday as well but my nut won't let me have refried beans till the puréed stage starts... I'm sooooo looking forward to it and I don't even like beans lol

Just got back from my one week checkup ... Down 14 lbs since surgery and 30 lbs since pre op diet... Oh ya... I also lost a chin lol

I had one but only during surgery. They took it out in recovery before I went to my room. To be honest I'm a wuss and I didn't even know it was in there. No problem at all

I feel 1000 times better today. I absolutely hate Protein shakes but I am feeling not having it so today I took 1 cup of Greek yogurt, and 1 cup of lactaid and put it in the blender for Breakfast. It was deelish and gave me 25 grams of protein! I have my follow up with the surgeon on Wed so I'm kinda just waiting till then. The muscle pain is fading and I stood up straight today and walked around the market!

Yep thats me today.... Crying during tv shows, crying cuz my back and but hurt, crying cuz I don't have the fiancée I had when I had the lap band procedure 6 years ago cuz he knew how to play with my hair just right :-(

Hi Jeninpink . I had my revision this past Tuesday and I was worried about all that too but it actually wasn't that bad. No more pain that when I had the band. I actually opted for 0 pain medication at all at the hospital. I was there 1 night and received 2 Heparin shots in my tummy but they use such a tiny needle if you can have a lap band fill, heparin is a walk in the park. I can't comment on the drain tube because my dr doesn't use them. I came home Wed and I've been drinking just fine. Already up making my niece lunch today

Hi all. I have a question. I'm 4 days out and every time it take a sip I get like a quick hunger pain then I burp. Not to mention my stomach has been making the loudest weirdest noises. Is this normal?

I'm maybe drinking a quarter cup at a time and that takes me about 30 minutes. I sip then it hurts for about 3 seconds then I burp and I'm ok

Hi Sandee, I had surgery on Tuesday as well. Came home yesterday. I opted for no drugs in the hospital or home so I'm having a little trouble sleeping. Hang I'm there. Glad you're well

I know, I just keep thinking this muscle pain will never go away and I'll be walking like the hunchback forever. Just not feeling like myself

That sounds nice but I'm only 48 hours out and can't even shower till tomorrow :-(

Lol I was "sliced up" on Tuesday. Came home last night. Having trouble getting comfie but getting through it. Hope you have a speedy recovery!!

Got home from the hospital tonight now a matter of getting comfie. I suppose the 3 hours of sleep I've managed to get is more than I got in the hospital bed. I guess I still have air cuz every once in a while I get a pain/pressure in my chest then I burp lol just trying to get through it

So my surgery is in 9 hours and I'm sitting in my room crying like a little baby. I have severe panic disorder and when I had lapband surgery 6 years ago (first ever surgery) I felt like I was suffocating when they put the oxygen mask on. I tried to jump off the surgery table then in 10 seconds I was out but I swear I have post traumatic stress cuz now all I can think of is going in there tomorrow and that suffocating feeling. I feel like I fought so hard to get this surgery now I'm being a big cry baby

TMI but every hour I pee so every hour I take a lap

Thank you for the prayers everyone!!! The anesthesiologist was Amazing!!! No mask and I didn't even realize when I fell asleep till they woke me up. Nausea was bad for a while but they gave me zofran and reglan combo and I just took a lap around the nurses station. Looking forward to feeling better tomorrow
