Wow I am only a month late in seeing this, but I didnt end up getting the band because when the surgeon went in he found a tumor which he removed, it was noncancerous and I am fine but should find out tomorrow when i can reschedule.

Yes but not as nervous as I was because I had to have gallbladder surgery on 5/12 and I had never been put under general anesthesia before but it was a breeze and recovery was good so I am hoping this is the same. Sorry for the late response still getting use to the site
