  1. I wish I could say something to make you feel better. It may be a bit of a rough road but probably a good idea to talk to another doctor. Take care dear, Lena
  2. This is the basis for eggplant lasagna. use the eggplant after this prepation and then layer it like you would a lasagna.
  3. it was recommended to me as well but i mushed everything to smitherenes instead. From what I remember with my daughter baby food is very saltless - you may need a bit of salt to bump up the flavour.
  4. :thumbup:Tori, it sounds like you're losing quite a bit. Everybody is different. :frown: Hang in there!
  5. That's fantastic. Lara is my daughter's name. It is a Russian name coming from the full name of Larissa.
  6. :biggrin:looks like there are several good smashers available around the house
  7. I'm averaging about the same as you. Sometimes I drop it a bit if I get mad at the scale but it does get a bit tough when going down to 800 or 700 - I find I have to avoid going to my friends' places or my sister's house because of the temptations and of course they're always nibbling on something.
  8. Good observation Willowcat:cool:
  9. I needed Tylenol at one point and my friend ( a guy) put them in a paper towel and smashed them with a hammer so I could swallow easily - though they tasted super awful like that. I thought using the hammer was pretty funny and still laugh when i think about it.
  10. :frown::sad: (my favourite icon- i call it drumroll please) Some great successes! Totally inspiring!
  11. Sounds a bit like sabotage - experiencing that at the moment from several sources - makes me even more determined to get back to my previously hot self.
  12. Teri, I had lipo on hips many years ago and the pain and the heat lasted for about 5 weeks with me and it hurt if I bumped into anything. Hope you're doing alright.
  13. Hello, my sister and I are going to Miami this Saturday for a week's holiday and wondering if anybody knows of reasonably priced Cuban food around South Beach area where we are staying. Also any recommendation for good restaurants in South Beach. Thanks.
  14. another cop-out. Just put the person or people down - don't you feel better now?
  15. That's a cop out- a real low blow. I am a christian. I love God - I love my family and friends and they know it. You could use some preaching to get back down to earth. You say us christians are judgmental. Who started this thread - full of judgmental comments and hatred.
  16. Super wow! It must feel great! God bless,
  17. I feel for you. I am expecting to have a full feeling at some point with not everything relying on myself. I didn't pay so much money so I had to do all the work myself. Keep in touch. lol
  18. I had my first fill last week - no restriction - so now I am back to dieting again as I too have gained 2 pounds back and would be heartbroken to see the scale go up. I go for another fill in three weeks. Is this what they call bandster H.ll? lol
  19. You're annoying
  20. Welcome! Mushies will be here sooner than you know it!
  21. I prefer not to say. The care is very professional but atmosphere quite cool.
  22. :sad:Thanks anyways for answering. I guess I am so tired out from years of stress and feeling a bit under appreciated for well intentioned efforts. What's the phrase "sometimes it's hard to be a woman"
  23. My doctor in Toronto also had terrible bedside manner and some of the staff are nice where others were not.
  24. Stress is so prevalent in my life and I see that it triggers the urge to eat. I think it probably does for others as well but could use a kind word of support.
