Hello there, I noticed you were on a St Louis area forum. Did you have your surgery yet? Dr Wagner is awesome. I had my surgery July of last year and am doing great. Hope all is well and hope to hear from you.

I am also going to Dr. Wagner. Him and his staff are absolutely amazing! St. Alexius staff as well. He had me do a 10 day liquid sugar free diet, I had all my pre-op testing in one day and his staff informed me of every step while dealing with the insurance. Would recommend him to anyone! -
My doctor did a 10 day liquid diet ( diet soda, broth, sugar free popsicles/jello, diluted low calorie gatorade ). I am on day 7! And have lost 15 lbs on it! Its hard to stick to, but having some immediate results is nice. Go in to be banded Monday the 26! WOOHOO:thumbup:

Did you cheat on pre-op liquid diet

well its only day 2 out of 10 of my pre op diet. my surgeon said it was ok to have diet soda, diluted gatorade/powerade, propel fitness water, sugar free jello, popsicles and icees and broth. i go in for surgery april 26th and they told me the 15th i was approved... needless to say i had a VERY fulfilling "last meal"
