Hi Tiffykins, Was wondering how lunch turned out on Saturday. I wanted to come, but had plans to go to my folks house 1 hr north of Dallas. I really wanted to meet you & the others. Happy Easter Linda! Sorry I missed the big event Saturday, had prior plans to go to my parents place up at Texoma. I am going to make every attempt to make the meeting next Wednesday and hope to see you then! How was Saturday? How many people showed? I had really wanted to meet Tiffykin since she doesn't live here for our meetings at Baylor. Hope you can make that!

Hi I saw you on someone's forum. You said you'd had the sleeve done by Dr. Nicholson. So how are you doing? Mine is scheduled for May. Did you have your surgery at Baylor or Forest Park Surgery Center? How many nights were you in the hospital?? Please let me know and if you'd like to be friends on this site. Thanks Linda, I appreciate the support! I will be able to attend April's meeting because work couldn't cover my shift in April, so I believe my new surgery date will have to be May 18th. That will be good because I did want to meet you & others who've already had their surgery.

Hi Linda, Was hoping to become friends with you and hook up at the monthly Baylor meeting in Plano if possible. Although in April, if things go as planned, I will be 1 day out from Surgery! Thanks for writing back. Glad to make a new friend with a common bond (vsg). I'll be self pay as my insurance doesn't cover it and even if they did the Dr. I've choose wouldn't be covered. I'm using Nick Nicholson who uses a surgery center at Forest ln/central expwy in Dallas. iLinda used the same doc & center. I'm sorry to hear about the clot still being there but keep up with it and what your Dr. suggests you do. Have a great Saturday!, Sheryl

Hi Barbara. I'm waiting on approval at work to take time off for my surgery. I'm going for the vsg. I'm an ultrasonographer, sorry to hear about your clot. Which vein was the clot in? A superficial one or part of the deep system (DVT)? I scan those and through my patients experiences it can take some time! Hi Tx Tea, I also live in Big D metroplex. I'm curious as to why you needed a revision. I'm having the VSG within the next month here in Dallas. Can you tell me who your surgeon for the revision was & why. Thanks for the help.

Just Joined this site. Looking to have my VSG within the next six weeks. I'm excited and fearful of the unknown at the same time. How are you feeling since having your surgery?
