  1. the same thing happened to me 2 months after surgery. Nioxin shampoo, conditioner, and a intensive therapy gel has helped grow new hair fast. I also found biotin supplements in sublingual (i can't get a pill down-they're large)at myvitanet.com. My hair dresser said no heat (hair dryer etc) and no ponytail until the hairloss slows. Hope this helps.

    thank you so much for giving me a bit of hope! I was banded yesterday. I am uncomfortable, but not nauseated. I was getting scared reading all of the reports of people in extreme pain and not keeping anything down.
