    Walk Away The Pounds

I have used her videos for years - the years that i have been 'good' that is! I use the 3-miles (both with weights, and with stretchy cord) and this past winter i got the 5-mile one. Now that the weather is good, i'm doing more outdoor activity; but I love Leslie when i can't be active outdoors. I track my 'miles' on a calendar and also on a spreadsheet; last December 22 I started a 'virtual journey' through Europe; starting on the Baltic Sea, and keeping track of my 'miles' as I head towards Istanbul. I color in countries on a map as I enter new countries. I have used www.michelin.com to 'plan' my journey, and know how many miles it will take from the border of one country to the next. I guess I need to update my profie; I had my lapband on October 24, but it's been a lot longer than that since I logged onto this site!
  4. Hi, I am new to this site. I have had my PCP referral, and have registered online with the Bariatric Surgery Program at Maine Medical Center. I am single and think of myself as very independent, never out sick from work, etc. I find myself balking at the idea of needing to have a 'support person' in order to have the surgery. Can anyone fill me in on the expectations of the role that this 'support person' is supposed to fill?
