  5. i'm only down 1.5, my body does NOT like low cal, but i am going to stick with it for another few weeks. one bad thing - today i worked out with my trainer and i did not feel very strong ... does that make sense?
  6. Renee, logging your food is not a lot of work, but it is an additional step. i personally think it is necessary to log food to make it 100% effective. congrats on getting a bugg..
  7. Great loss this week, Tammy! Christine
  8. belle, it will, your muscles have torn a bit (this is a good thing). they will rebuild stronger.
  9. steak is no problem for me at all. i have it a couple times a week. pizza? i've had it within the past month or so, but i am trying as low carb as possible, so not in my cards right now. but if i want a piece of pizza, i can eat it.

  14. i absolutely love my body bugg!! i put it on my night table next to my bed and put it on first thing in the morning (as soon as i step out of bed) and the last thing i do at night before going to sleep is take it off. the website is thorough and only takes a couple days (minimal usage) to really get very familiar with all the cool tools. attached are 2 pictures (sorry if they are big - i am at work and cannot edit size). my bugg with my sleeve pulled up and my bugg with my sleeve down.

  18. hi Lorie, well, my starting weight was 402 1/2 lbs. i lost quite a bit the first 3 months (61 pounds - almost 30 my first month). i worked out nearly every day - sometimes twice a day. out of a month of 30 days, i worked out one month 41 times. now i work out 6 days a week (cardio for 6 days, adding strength training every other day). the past week i have been low-carbing it and it seems to have kicked me into gear. i lost 14 pounds last week. my body goes thorough cycles. i will not lose anything for a week, then gain just a tad then drop about 5 pounds. i drink as much water as i can physically handle (80+ ounces a day) and i am fairly well restricted (about 2-3 oz of meat is good). best of luck to you!
  19. i go 6 times a week, taking 1 day off. cardio routine - elliptical 20 mins, bike 30 mins, elliptical 10 mins cool down (6 times) strength training - full body every other day i cant wait to start running. my heart is in shape for it, but i am petrified of damaging my knees further so i will wait another 70ish pounds i think. that's ok - it gives me a goal. and chickie - please dont leave, you are one of my inspirations!!
  20. my heart aches for your granddaughter. i wish the band had been around when i was a kid. not sure if it is available for someone so young, maybe contact Dr. Ortiz ???? best of luck to her (and you - great loss!!)
  21. i havent been weighing every week (vacation, life, etc..) and hopped on this morning and i am down 111 pounds! i was banded in October 2006, so about 8 1/2 months ago. i feel so much better, more energy, more fun with my daughter (and husband ). this is by far the best thing i have done for myself.
  22. Julie, that is a great NSV!!
  23. as of today i have lost 111 pounds. it has been almost 8 1/2 months and i know i have a long road to go still, but i am half way there!! thanks everyone for your support, i really appreciate it more than you could ever know!
