  12. next week is here: http://www.lapbandtalk.com/f81/couch-5k-week-11-17-november-44935/
  13. Hi everyone, this is our fifth week in the Couch to 5K program. This is designed to be a 9 week program, but you can repeat weeks (as I will be doing) until you are comfortable moving on. However, you are not supposed to skip weeks. It has been strongly suggested by trainers and runners alike to NOT run on consecutive days. More information can be found here: Cool Running :: The Couch-to-5K Running Plan Attached are the first thru fifth weeks in detail Anyone is free to join, no matter where we are!! This is the place to check in and support with each other and see how it is going. What week are you doing? How is it going for you? Is it too difficult / too easy? Any comments?? Good luck everyone!
  14. then you should definitely stay away from the nails !!
  15. only fish flavored nails make me gag.
  16. whos - that would be amazing... no way i could be ready for a tri - even in 2-3 years!!
  17. sweet - try a level 0 for a week or two and see how the shin splints are. then maybe gradually increase it up again (maybe 1 level a week or every other week). whos - glad your knees are not screaming so loudly my knees still if i go above 4.7 are very unforgiving. good luck on week 4 next week. i am definitely redoing week 3 (again)
  18. enterprise, i think its a very personal decision to have PS, if YOU are unhappy with your arms and want to do something about it, i feel you shouldnt have to justify it... you meet with the surgeon next week? you'll do fabulously and i'm sure he will be impressed with the amount of weight you've lost!
