  3. mmmm... love the 'soft' foods of turkey day. stuffing with sweet potatoes (smothered in butter and brown sugar) on top. dont forget to mix in the cranberries. OMG ... drooooool

  5. hi Karen, everyone is different, but i tend to get tighter as the fill 'settles in' a few weeks later. be careful. if you PB, try liquids for a day or so. if you feel too tight, please get a slight unfill.

  9. yup, me stirring the pot again... another forum i belong to has "the playground" which is a lot like RnR. in order to even view the threads you have to be a member for X months and have X posts. any thoughts on making RnR like that? things get quite heated over there and you need a tough skin... even though the header is prefaced with the disclaimer, it's been taken VERY personally by some newer members lately.

  16. i have had an occasional diet coke since banded (maybe 7-10 since being banded 13 months ago). i have never finished one though. it just doesnt taste the same.
  17. oh boy... i think that is the one "down side" to dropping the weight. clothes not properly fitting. i guess one good thing was i was in a 22/24 for quite awhile (from Jan - late Sept and that was about 60-65 lbs)... i finally broke down and bought some 18/20s. i was hoping they would last awhile, but now im not too sure....

  20. huh, cooked sashimi ... now THATs the kind of sashimi i can handle. DH eats just about everything ... including squid which i can do cooked, but not raw... **shiver**
  21. tomecia, yay! my surgeon was Marsden as well! i am staying on plan today cause its the best thing i can do for everyone involved...

  23. i dunno, JM. i want to remain active and i still hope to do the minnie marathon in May. even if it is walking. the minimum they require is 4MPH and i can do that walking... i have to make another MD appointment. hopefully will be able to get in next week.
