  2. ok... really stupid question. do you jump w/ both feet off the ground or kind of skip / jump ?
  3. i like baking shredded parmesan cheese. put a tablespoon on cookie sheet and bake at 400 for about 10 mins (until crisp). i love to use them as crackers
  4. i agree. just another ploy i believe. wonder if he is going to Water load again next week? looked "shocking" (but dont they all?) kae looked phenominal! bob was so proud.
  5. perfect siggy!!! klpdbl - apparently all you need to do is lie in bed think about doing them ... :car: oh good god no, NEON green??? ick. it is the busiest day of the month for me at work today and what am i doing?? :rolleyes this is bad ...
  6. the only time i have a problem is when i dont chew properly. dry chicken is a problem, but if i lube it up with something like gravy but that gets to be too high in cals. i am starting to LOVE chicken thighs.... mmmmmm
  7. i think when you are comfy doing it ... i wouldnt necessarily wait until it became "easy" ... you want to challenge yourself somewhat and if the next week is too much, go back a week or modify the week somehow ... nothing here is written in stone
  8. :deadhorse: ..... easier to just delete/repost
  9. whatever chickadee ... just because you have gotten to goal and look all HAWT you think it's all about you. i dont think so ..
  10. i did it. max was about 4.1 minimum was 3.6 so it was nice. i really did so much better with my music. instead of 90 seconds running, i did 120, so a little stronger since i am rualking ...
  11. great thread. - i am extremely thankful for my DH, DD and rest of my family. but mostly my DH. he takes complete care of DD in the mornings so i can get up before the crack of dawn to sweat my ass off. - i am thankful for my personal trainer who knows just how far to push me and then pushes me just a tad bit more. - i am thankful for Alex, the owner of LBT, and the mods for providing us a place we can learn some, gripe some and generally share experiences. - i am (beyond words) thankful for a few people here on LBT who have picked me up when i've fallen, given me a nice swift kick when i needed it and helped me in more ways imaginable.
  12. LMAO ... ummm ... dont think im going to drop 11 pounds in 10 days. sigh
  13. trystelle, you've lost over 100 pounds (!! :clap2: :clap2:). you are one of us now ... bring in the crown!!
  14. muscle milk is a rather HIGH FAT drink that people who work out a lot tend to drink. like i said, it is very high in fat, so i only drink it when i run and do strength training for several days. try googling muscle milk - it will list all their flavors, etc. i would not really recommend it on the pre op though due to the cals and fat.
  15. sorry to hear that travelgirl ... if you dont already have it, see if they can throw in the watch too ...
  16. happy band day!! :clap2: that's the great thing about this board - you can search pretty much anything you want (and im not saying you dont ... just stating the facts ) all you have to do is play around and take a couple of minutes. it literally took me about 2 mins to find that thread. wow - congrats on 8 years! i cannot wait until i forget i am banded. that would be me ... and i honestly did not mean it as a 'let's hide this from the newbies', it was more, let's let the new people absorb info about being banded first then walk into the firepit! i honestly didnt even go into RnR until a month or two ago. i was in a pissy type mood when i started that thread. another thread and posts there got me in the ticky mood and i just pretty much had it. i knew if i left LBT again, i'd be hunted down, so that wasnt an option... sticking to RnR only seemed really to be my only alternative for a bit... **shrug** maybe 'experienced' ??? there are some relatively young oldies (Chickie, Wheetsin to name a couple) i concur... :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  17. i am doing my rualking this afternoon. i forgot i had my turkey trot on thursday and didnt want to do M/W/TH/F, so i'm doing T/TH/Sa. JM - how did you week 2 go?
  18. oh Italian Wedding cake is my nemisis! good job stopping at a small piece. i dunno if i could/would have.
  19. laying in bed thinking of doing crunches - does that count?? will post more at work but I wanted to reply to this one YES!! I wanted to try to avoid another scene like the weekend. the whole mess about - oh god I'm getting old and can't even remember the thread name... it was to avoid hurt feelings. MOST of the time (ok 50.0001%) I really am quite nice and not a total bitch. ok gotta get ready for work.
  20. Sade, I agree, it did get a tad out of control - even for RnR. however, one thing I dont get is one person was posting (making fun) and having a great time "slamming" others - until they thought we were "slamming" her. THAT is when the tone immediately changed.
  21. cause i can. and i dont want Rain or Chickie coming here to kick my behind...
