Couch to 5K - Week of 18 ? 24 November
i think when you are comfy doing it ... i wouldnt necessarily wait until it became "easy" ... you want to challenge yourself somewhat and if the next week is too much, go back a week or modify the week somehow ... nothing here is written in stone

Happy Thanksgiving! Sure! Why Not!
great thread. - i am extremely thankful for my DH, DD and rest of my family. but mostly my DH. he takes complete care of DD in the mornings so i can get up before the crack of dawn to sweat my ass off. - i am thankful for my personal trainer who knows just how far to push me and then pushes me just a tad bit more. - i am thankful for Alex, the owner of LBT, and the mods for providing us a place we can learn some, gripe some and generally share experiences. - i am (beyond words) thankful for a few people here on LBT who have picked me up when i've fallen, given me a nice swift kick when i needed it and helped me in more ways imaginable.

A thread for super-sized bandsters - starting BMI over 50?
muscle milk is a rather HIGH FAT drink that people who work out a lot tend to drink. like i said, it is very high in fat, so i only drink it when i run and do strength training for several days. try googling muscle milk - it will list all their flavors, etc. i would not really recommend it on the pre op though due to the cals and fat.

What is it with the superior 'oldies'!!
happy band day!! :clap2: that's the great thing about this board - you can search pretty much anything you want (and im not saying you dont ... just stating the facts ) all you have to do is play around and take a couple of minutes. it literally took me about 2 mins to find that thread. wow - congrats on 8 years! i cannot wait until i forget i am banded. that would be me ... and i honestly did not mean it as a 'let's hide this from the newbies', it was more, let's let the new people absorb info about being banded first then walk into the firepit! i honestly didnt even go into RnR until a month or two ago. i was in a pissy type mood when i started that thread. another thread and posts there got me in the ticky mood and i just pretty much had it. i knew if i left LBT again, i'd be hunted down, so that wasnt an option... sticking to RnR only seemed really to be my only alternative for a bit... **shrug** maybe 'experienced' ??? there are some relatively young oldies (Chickie, Wheetsin to name a couple) i concur... :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

laying in bed thinking of doing crunches - does that count?? will post more at work but I wanted to reply to this one YES!! I wanted to try to avoid another scene like the weekend. the whole mess about - oh god I'm getting old and can't even remember the thread name... it was to avoid hurt feelings. MOST of the time (ok 50.0001%) I really am quite nice and not a total bitch. ok gotta get ready for work.

Rants and Raves become NOT for newbies
Sade, I agree, it did get a tad out of control - even for RnR. however, one thing I dont get is one person was posting (making fun) and having a great time "slamming" others - until they thought we were "slamming" her. THAT is when the tone immediately changed.
