  12. nina im so excited for you!! id love to go to france for my plastics not sure if Dr. Pascal and my PS use the same type of sutures, the progressive tension sutures, but my doc invented them ... the whole 'no drain' thing sounds amazing, but its kind of scary, everyone else uses drains, why not him ??? i am going with Dr. Harlan Pollock in Dallas (North Dallas Plastic Surgery: Cosmetic Surgery in Dallas and Plano, TX). 54 more days. you are right before me .. my pre-op consult is on valentine's day and surgery is the 29th of February ... 17. D yeah, me too at least we dont spew the potentially harmful 'advice'
  18. dear person who thinks they know it all, you dont, quit spewing crap me
  19. 65 days left and about 16 1/2 pounds to go. a few people asked me if the surgeon is requesting the 20 pounds, nope - its my own goal... i figure the more i lose now, the less i'll have to lose after and hopefully reduce the need for any tummy revision. ideally - 20 lbs lost will put me at 245ish. even if he only (ha, only) gets 25 lbs removed at surgery, i'll be about 40 pounds from my 'goal' weight of 180. not a "healthy" BMI, but not 402.5 lbs either... i will then probably wait until mid-late 2009 for the rest of my plastics journey (thighs and maybe arms/boobs). mostly because i have the Minnie Marathon in May 08 then the full (or 1/2 ???) Disney Marathon in January 09 then paying off my DDad for this surgery... phew! lots to do!!! im just really anxious to start the next phase of my journey. i am not looking forward to the pain though. but being able to run without FLAP FLAP FLAPPING and stretching without the need to move the gut out of the way (yeah, real lady-like )
  20. hi Hammer, 1 - i dont usually go by volume (cup wise) of food. i eat until i am satisfied - not 'full' are you logging your food? are you exercising? 2 - how much is "a lot" every week, every day, more than once a day? until yesterday, i hadn't pb'd in quite awhile (several months). just remember, once you PB, it's a good idea to go to liquids only for the next day or so to let the swelling go down. remember the bandster rules - Protein first (chew chew chew) then veggies (chew once again) then IF you have room, a little starch/carbs 3 - everyone is different, depends on your stomach size, etc... good luck!
  21. CN, great ideas! i never even thought of adding extracts !!
  22. OMG, midnight oil. i saw them eons ago when the festival concerts (think lollapoloooooooza) were just starting ... phenominal show!
  23. like steph said - log your cals, WHAT are you eating? i log every bite that goes in my mouth. sometimes i dont want to (like when i have a piece of carrot cake or something), but i do it. and then i make sure i work my @$$ off at the gym. the band is a tool, it's up to you how you want to use it. you can do this!
  24. yes, yes and YES!! i have a size 14 dress hanging in my closet. nothing special, just a dress i found that was cute when i was a size 24. i put it on back then and didnt even want DH to see me in it. i think i'll try it on tonight...
