  3. Andrew, im about 250ish right now and am scheduled for a TT with mega lipo to back and side boobs on the 29th of Feb. i say, if the surgeon says it's a good time, then go for it! congrats on losing the 134! thats wonderful!

  7. Amy, hopefully this will make you feel better... i've been bouncing up and down the same 10 pounds since AUGUST
  8. how about your inches? i, too, am addicted to the scale. you may want to read this thread too. http://www.lapbandtalk.com/f17/asking-too-much-your-scale-52121/ you didnt say how much you've lost and how long you've been 'stuck'
  9. the only thing i'd be concerned with is the sodium content ... some of those hotpots are full of salt!!!

  14. slmaem, contact your surgeon before progressing to soft Proteins. there are many liquids with lots of Protein in it. maybe drink 1/2 a shake, save it then 1/2 when you are feeling hungry again. up your Water intake too, sometimes that helped me. you can do this!

  21. hi Mary, i have added you to the first post. congrats on the panni and insurance covering it!!! i go in tomorrow for my pre-op and hope to get all the instructions/meds. did you get liquid meds for pain?
  22. but, wheet, you have money, you dont need any more ... someone actually had the nerve to tell me this. since my very dear DH works his ass off and makes enough money to disqualify us for the 'rebate' (aka tax advance), i should just be happy about that. please! i have bills just like they do. mortgage, cars, etc ... just cause you charge everything and have to pay your bills with the rebate and i dont have those doesnt mean that we couldnt use the money... GRRRRRRRRRRR. i guess we need to be penalized for being educated and fiscally responsible (no, not upset - at all)
  23. Angie, great to hear! welcome to bandland!!
