    i feel like such a failure.

    i really do. i was all excited ... i am on vacation this week and wanted to work my ass off and drop some weight. i went on the treadmill today - burned 504 calories .. yay me ... i went to a new step class tonight ... no way on God's green earth ... i couldnt keep up, i was just not working it ... and the class was of course crowded ... MEGA crowded and they were all getting it. why couldnt i? :phanvan and to top it off i want chocolate (real not that sugar free stuff) in the worst way. as i was driving home from dinner i came """this close""" to stopping off and getting something, but i didnt ... but dammit i still want chocolate. i might as well just go to bed...

    holy $#!t !!!!!

    ok, so i am down 10% and i am happy. very happy ... extremely happy. less than 20 pounds until my first mini goal of 60 pounds gone by 08 December. so i start thinking about my second mini goal. i have these really great dresses that i ordered online and i've never (ever) been able to wear them. so my 2nd mini goal is to look awesome in this dress for my Father's surprise retirement party in February. the thought just came to me... so i jumped up and grabbed the dress to show to Rick. on a whim, i tried the dress on, it fucking fit ... FIT FIT FIT FIT FIT !!! ok ok ok ... it is very umm shall we say snug around the tummy area. but it fit! (going from a loose 42/44W to a 30W) so my 2nd goal is to have it really fit by Christmas. can i do it? you bet your ass i am going to try...

    Dehydration

    WP, i had problems w/ hydration when i was first banded as well. i just wasnt thirsty at all. i found something that i truly liked to drink (pink lemonade crystal light) and have been fine ever since. i am sorry that you are having problems. try to make it a habit to take a bottle of liquid with you everywhere you go. you have given yourself a very special gift, try to baby yourself as much as possible and sip sip sip...

    New diet i found

    oh dang ... i made this soup... first bowl was pretty good, after that it was just NO WAY i was going to eat this for even more than 1 meal... why do i want to go on this restrictive diet when i can (pretty much) have anything i want? it just made me want all the things i shouldnt be eating ... i think i'd rather work out extra hard than have this soup again.

    Jules, sorry to hear about your PB. i, too, still have food issues. either too big of a bite or too fast. i **knock on wood** have not PB'd yet, but i have been excessively full ... that was not a fun thing at all. maybe when we are eating (taking smaller bites of course) put down your fork and count to 20 - since we are chewing well that shouldnt be a problem. best of luck to ya!

    Still a sloth...

    5 pounds in a week is great!! (here's the swift kick you asked for a bit ago)... you may be losing muscle if you are not exercising ... you can find a way to get to the gym, i know you can. on a different note - isnt Chick Fil A the best????? i really miss it, i am afraid if i start w/ the fried food i wont be able to stop. but i do go to Wendy's for their Chili and a small frostee. both items are under 700 cals but i never eat all of both. you can do this!!!

    October 2006 Bandsters!

    Hi Jessica, I have done a few things: treadmill ... i started 2 weeks after banding ... went for 8 minutes. i can now do about 50 but that is really pushing it because i love doing an incline. elliptical .... hated it .. didnt last more than a minute on it. i'll revisit it when i've dropped about 80. step class ... LOVED it. i did go at my pace (slower than the class pace) but i went the entire 30 minutes. i kept moving. today i did aqua aerobics ... loved it as well. it was funny because immediately after the class i thought oh that was easy.. ha! my arms are quite achy now. remember this is coming from someone who did not move her hiney before banding... best of luck to you!!

    the depo shots are what made me gain over 100 lbs ... well the PCOS didnt help, but i didnt have the PCOS problems until after the depo shots ... ahhhh

    well, i went to the step class and yes, it did indeed kick my ass, but apparently i liked it ... i am going back for more next week. i tried the elliptical this morning :faint: oh damn, i sucked so bad. i didnt even last a minute so i went to trusty Ted the treadmill and worked him really well. i only went for 33:10 (ha- "only") but i was doing some serious inclines (9.0 - 10.0 for 1 - 2 minutes each 2-3 times) then i rested then went back to 3.5 - 5.5 incline for most of the other time. i cannot believe the new outlook i have. i am actually in a good mood. go figure!! i am not sure what i am going to do tomorrow. i may take the day off, but who knows. it depends on how active i am at home. oh oh oh ... i hit 10% loss... yup - 40 pounds ... GONE ... i only have 19.875 pounds til my first mini goal. i am :biggrin1: :biggrin1:

    OMG!! step class - me ???

    i did it! 30 full minutes. granted i wasnt able to fully keep up w/ the class but i thought i would be able to go maybe 5 minutes and i was moving throughout the entire class. :faint: i am so psyched!! i cant believe i did it!

    LOL - who said anything about being coordinated??? :heh: when i thought i was losing the coordination, i didnt step up ... i just kinda moved. i never thought i was going to be able to do it and i am just SO thrilled that i stuck it out.

I just ate lunch about an hour ago (about 1/2 a packet of spicy tuna) and was full ... in fact, i still am full ... not hungry in any way. but i want to eat. i had to stop myself from grabbing my 100 cal. pack of doritos ... i've been drinking my CL all day so i am not thirsty... ahhhh! this is so frustrating!!! i'm at work and there is just so much garbage here (i am 2 offices down from the "snack shack") and i would really love chocolate... :hungry: this is the first time this has happened since i've been banded a bit over a month ago. thoughts?? thanks!

    Flouro Fill?

    it is a fill under an x-ray type machine. it is "live" not w/ film but on a monitor. it makes it more accurate because the techs can see the port and then they can see the fill happening.
