So I now know what people were talking about when they said "sliming" and can I say... YUCK! I tried 2 small bites of rice and then the pain started. Next was when the fun started, sliming and throwing up. For me 2 small bites of rice equals 20+ minutes of unpleasantness. I will not touch rice again that is for sure!

So I was given my first fill of 4.5 cc's on March 27th and I feel no restriction. Is there something wrong or is this normal to get what I thought was a good fill and not have any restriction yet? Is this a sign of a leak?

So I had my first fill on Saturday. He put 4.5 in....first he put 5 but the water kept getting stuck. Is 4.5 a normal fill? I was on liquids Sat and Sun and I am on mushies today and tomorrow. Anyway, just wanted to make sure on the fill amount.

So I am now 10 days out and each day is a new adventure. I am having a lot of real pain in my lower stomach, at first I felt really hungry, I am still on liquid diet for 4 more days :tt2:. I am drinking protein shakes and a lot of water. I feel no restriction now. The hunger turned to pain about 1 hour ago. Does anyone know what the heck this is?

I was banded yesterday and when someone said they felt like a semi had run them over I now know what you meant. I only feel like the semi hit me and drug me along for awhile. Does anyone know when the pain will stop? Any helpful hints? I can't find a comfortable way to sit/lay anything, any suggestions? :rolleyes2:

I am 9 days out from surgery and I know am having pain in the middle of my chest when I drink anything (still on liquid diet). I have only had protein drinks, water, broth, and water with crystal light in it. It feels like I have a burp in there, nothing comes out and it takes hours to pass. Any ideas? Nothing could be stuck cause I have not had anything but liquids....right?:rolleyes2:
