I was not a candidate for bypass and what was the biggest factor in my decision was the long term success I will have with the band. I have never had an issue losing weight once my mind was set but to keep it off has always been a challenge.

I too am feeling anxious .... being banded on Feb.2nd. Have only confided in spouse and a friend. Looking forward to seeing how yours goes and mine as well! Good luck!
