Lol! No, the puppies wont eat it, so I said, "what tha hell" it cost $188 for a two week supply, so I just eat as much as I can stand. Once the hot food gets hot......it's a wrap! It's taste like Baby Alive food! Yea, I tasted that mess by mistake when the first original Baby Alive was introduced in the 70's. I hate that my doctor only does surgeries on Tuesdays. I was hoping Thursdays that way I can be off Thur and Fri and slip on back to work by that Monday. Oh well. Countdown! 3 days to go!

Girl! They got me on some nasty bootleg food. Some by Medifast and the other by Healthwise. I can only deal with the eggs, the fruit drinks with the diet sprite are actually the bomb, the carmel crunch and the oatmeal bars are good, and the chicken bouillon. The rest i sneaked a taste to my dogs and they even let it run out their mouths. I can't wait til this is all over. Hell! I done lost weight by throwing away most of the food! Humph!

Hey! Just checking up on you. How'd it go and how do you feel today?

Morning. I had 4 1/2 inch stitches around my belly and one through my belly button, which my port is to the right about a inch from my belly button. They have all faded and I can't see any of them. How many did you have?

Wow! Perfect10! That was fast. Well, I have an update! My psych eval came back yesterday. Since Monday is MLK Day, they will submit to Anthem on Tuesday the 19th. I have already got my surgery clearance so I am waiting for the OK and let's schedule! Ugh! Can't wait!

Thanks for the comment! How did your appt go? I too had a BMI of 35. That was like in Dec. By the time I went to my first visit in Jan I had my BMI over 40. lol!

hee Hee! I know that's right! Also, I am started ot feel a lot less restriction when eating . I guess my swelling is going down around my band and I have 20 more days to get my first fill. *Sigh*! Hope I dont gain my 28 lbs I just lost! Grrrr!

Wow! they filled it already? I wish they would have filled mine 2 weeks ago because I am already able to eat the amount I ate Pre-surgery. I don't get my first fill until next wednesday. tomorrow is incision check. The only thing that still hurts on me is to the right of my belly button where I guess my port is. Glad your doing great!

Now, I do have one suggestion. the day after surgery DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT be stupid like I did today and watch any stand up comedy. My dumb butt turned on Netflix and was watching Jamie Foxx "I need security", He started on Whitney Houston, her being on crack and that wig and BABYYYYYYYY I literally almost bust my steri strips on my stomach. I was literally laughing and crying which caused my stomach muscles to contract and girl! I screamed. laughed and cried all at the same time. I had to turn that fool off and watch NOTHING! I was done!

Yuck! Got my preop diet food today. The veggie soup w asnt so bad it just felt wrong! lol!

Congrats on your approval! Yay! I know you're excited because I am still excited about mine. LOL! So , do you have to do the liquid diet before surgery?

Hi Lovelylady! My surgery is in 2 days and my BMI was 40.35 so as long as my BMI doesnt fall below 35.....i'm good. Which is is at like 37 or so now.

Ok, we have a winter storm white out and I have less than 19 hours til surgery. O Lord, how am I going to get to and from and please don't let this cancel my surgery!

Baaaaaby listen! I aint eating anymore until 72 hours till surgery. That crap is nasty. Now the liquid stuff I have to do at home after surgery is my stuff, not that nasty crap that has the nerve to cost $188.00. Humph! Can we say Walmart.......We in a recession!

Glad to hear your doing well. So how much pain around the port on a scale from 1 to 10.

I hate the diet, its nasty and it doesnt feel natural at all! I can do the eggs, the fruit drinks with diet sprite in them and the bouillon soups...the oatmeal is do-able too with I cant believe its not butter and brown sugar splenda. Other than that, NOT! lol.

Hey Girl! I'm at work, went back yesterday. My port area is really sore. Especially since my surgeon decided while I was under anesthesia that I should get the Realize Band C. Hummm, that wasnt my choice because the port and the port line was larger than the Lapband. Which explains why my port area by my belly button is sore! I know you're ready for the 5 days to be up so that you can Getter Done!
