Hey Girl! I'm at work, went back yesterday. My port area is really sore. Especially since my surgeon decided while I was under anesthesia that I should get the Realize Band C. Hummm, that wasnt my choice because the port and the port line was larger than the Lapband. Which explains why my port area by my belly button is sore! I know you're ready for the 5 days to be up so that you can Getter Done!

Now, I do have one suggestion. the day after surgery DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT be stupid like I did today and watch any stand up comedy. My dumb butt turned on Netflix and was watching Jamie Foxx "I need security", He started on Whitney Houston, her being on crack and that wig and BABYYYYYYYY I literally almost bust my steri strips on my stomach. I was literally laughing and crying which caused my stomach muscles to contract and girl! I screamed. laughed and cried all at the same time. I had to turn that fool off and watch NOTHING! I was done!

Work it! Work it! Wooo hoo hoo! I am feeling great! I done made some jello this morning to have at lunch, took my doggie to the mailbox and back and now surfing the web. I did gulp my applesauce too fast and had a knot feeling between my boobs and the top of my stomach. Lesson taught! I have to slow it down while eating.....even applesauce!

Good Morning! I am almost 24 hours post surgery! YES! I was banded yesterday morning Feb 16, 2010 at 9a! Yesterday I was super GASSY through my left neck and shoulder-chest area and that was unbearable, plus a little nauseous. At or around 9p last night, pain disappeared. Now I only feel like I had a date with Billy Blanks and his workout Ab team. So yes, my stomche muscles feel like I have done 1,000 sit ups!

Well, your prayers must have worked. At or about 9p last night, i can report just a feeling of soreness. It feels like Billy Blanks and I had a date with a super ab workout! Other than that, no gas-no pain! Thanks again for checkin on me!

YES! I am officially BANDED as of this morning! Feeling a bit nauseous and the GAS pain on my left side is HORRIBLE! Gas X strips isn't helping at all! No pain on or in stomach as of yet. I know the next day will be a different story. It's all good!

Hey Baby D! I was BANDED about 8 hours ago and right now, I am feeling like I can just throw up a river and the GAS pain is a "MUTHA". No pain in my stomach as of yet. I heard tomorrow will be a different story. Thanks for checking on a sista!

Ok, we have a winter storm white out and I have less than 19 hours til surgery. O Lord, how am I going to get to and from and please don't let this cancel my surgery!

Hi Lovelylady! My surgery is in 2 days and my BMI was 40.35 so as long as my BMI doesnt fall below 35.....i'm good. Which is is at like 37 or so now.

Lol! No, the puppies wont eat it, so I said, "what tha hell" it cost $188 for a two week supply, so I just eat as much as I can stand. Once the hot food gets hot......it's a wrap! It's taste like Baby Alive food! Yea, I tasted that mess by mistake when the first original Baby Alive was introduced in the 70's. I hate that my doctor only does surgeries on Tuesdays. I was hoping Thursdays that way I can be off Thur and Fri and slip on back to work by that Monday. Oh well. Countdown! 3 days to go!

I hate the diet, its nasty and it doesnt feel natural at all! I can do the eggs, the fruit drinks with diet sprite in them and the bouillon soups...the oatmeal is do-able too with I cant believe its not butter and brown sugar splenda. Other than that, NOT! lol.

Glad to hear your doing well. So how much pain around the port on a scale from 1 to 10.
