Hey I'm not in cali I live in southern OR. I'm just a raiders fan. I havent been banded yet. I have just completed all of my pre-op stuff so I'm just waiting for my final consultation with the doctor to get a surgery date. I hope its soon! I was wondering where are you located and who is the dr doing your surgery? hope to hear from you soon.

hello there i just saw your before and after pics on a thread and just wanted to tell you that you look great!! your doing a fantastic job!! when were you banded? i just got my band on march1st. have you had any problems at all with anything? or has everything went real smooth?

congrats!!! im glad to hear everything went well for u!! thats awsome u got to go home the same day. now do u have to be on liquids for a week or 2? and how long di u have to be on liquid diet before surgery? that part dosnt sound fun but im sure il get through it!!lol well i hope u feel alot better tomorro. and let me know how ur doing. congrats once again!!!

thank you! ya i saw that you had to have 3 surgerys total! thats crazy! but you look great and your numbers are really good!! whats some of the hard things you had to deal with? im only 4weeks out and i dont have much restriction at all! i go in thursday for my first fill.so that will be good! i heard it takes awhile to get use to it after u have alot of restriction! hope to hear from you soon. keep up the great work!

hi thank u for replying to my thread about smoking! i think thats so awsome that ur surgeon will still do the surgery! i keep hearing people say that they will test u and if positive they will cancel ur surgery!YIKES!!! lol congrats on ur surgery tomorro!! i hope everything goes great for ya!

hi skippy! whats ur real name? im glad ur not getting hungry still,but thats terrible that u got really sick in the morning like that! but we learn from what happens right? thats great ur husband is very supportive through ur journey and by ur side! im glad my wife is the same way! it makes a big difference to have people who support u and r there for u when u need them!! r u still eating 1/2cup 3times a day? and since ur not hungry is it hard to eat at all? how was it getting use to chewing REALLY well? i think that will take me awhile to get use to instead of scarfing it down!lol

hey april:) thats awsome that u dont have a problem drinking that much fluid a day!! and thats cool that u do fine with the soda once in awhile! or (pop)as u call it!lol and thats probably a normal feeling to be scared before ur first weigh in! but im sure u will be happy with the results! and if not just give ur body time to adjust to the band and then u will start losing weight! i havnt heard anything new yet we go on the 9th for my consultation it starts at 8:30 and ends at 5:30 its ALL day! lol.but i will get my surgery date then so its worth it!!! i hope everything goes good and theres no delays with my surgery!! im glad that u r doing good witheverything! r u still not getting sick since u stoped the pills?

hi..im glad to hear ur doing real well with ur pre-op diet so far! and hopefully it continues to be easy for u! what does ur pre-op diet consist of? i know every dr does things different. i was talking to a lady and she only had to be on a liquid diet the day before and day of surgery! and then i heard others say they were on liquids for a wk or 2!! i hope im only on it for the 2days!!lol im a self pay patient. im going to dr.mirande in klamath falls and he has a self pay package for 10,000 so not to bad! and i have alot of people supporting me through this which is very nice! do u have alot of support? where is it u live again? r u self pay?

hey im glad to hear ur feeling alot better today and moving around!! wow i thaught after surgery u had to be on liquids for awhile but i guess it just depends on ur surgeon. i hope i only have to start liquids the day before also!! lol. thanx for the encouragement!! hope u get a good nights sleep and feel even better tomorro! hows ur appetite? i hear some people say theyre not that hungry for awhile after surgery. talk to u later.

hello, im sorry to hear about the hernia but luckily he found it soon and is going to fix it next week and then you will be back on track! does it hurt at all? were you doing to much lifting or how does the hernia start? thank you for adding me on facebook! im on there quite a bit. i love meeting new people on here to keep in touch with! i was banded on march 1st so not long at all! its nice talking to people that have had it for awhile to get some info and tips from! have a great day and il talk to you soon:)

wow!!3weeks of liquids!!! now thats tough!lol but sounds like ur doing a great job with everything! and im glad u r getting ur fluids that u need in between meals. hows ur port site feeling? any better than it was?
