my first fill was 4ccs in a 10cc band.

it does seem like a big band for your size but my surgeon told me that no matter the persons size everyones is different inside and sizes of stomachs very! so the 14cc band probably fit you alot better than the 10cc.

i was told to not gulp water down but it goes through ur pouch pretty quick!

me also!! i was told i had a 14cc and my first fill my surgeon told me he put the 10cc in!!!lol

hello everyone, i think this thread is great!! i weighed myself this morning and im at 308!!!day of surgery i was 361!! so i feel really good about my weightloss so far. its only been 3months.i cant believe the results! im just so happy i had to share!! hope you are all doing great!!

i have 6.5ccs and i have good restriction so far! im so glad that i have it after only 2fills! i see sometimes it can take 4or5fills to get good restriction!

im sorry to hear your having problems!! you might need a slight unfill. thats weird you only have 2ccs and your that tight! but everyones different!! i hope you feel better soon! you should really go see your dr.

im sorry you are having a tough time lately!! i think you should talk to your dr.about whats going on and maybe he can help you to get back on track with no pain! you have lost alot of weight so far.congrats!!! i hope you get it taken care of soon.good luck!!

are you full after each meal untill the next meal? it sounds like you are at your sweet spot to me. maybe your chewing really well like your spose to and thats why you dont have stuck episodes and throwing up!

i was told that i have the larger band in me. so i assumed it was the 14cc but i guess i better check huh? lol i havnt set up another fill apt.yet he said wait a few weeks and see how i feel.its been a little over a week and i feel the same so im going to have to set up another i think.

juliansmom: i thought that you had a 14cc band? how long do you have to wait inbetween fills?

i just had my first fill of 4cc. and feel the exact same. do you guys get your fills using fluoroscopy?

well i hope the 4th is the one for you!! i just had my first fill last week and he put 4ccs in and so far i feel the same! so im hoping the next on will be a little better! take care:)

whats MRSA? no my infection didn't bleed it was just real red around it and little red bumps!! im glad you found out what it was and it will be over soon!

hmm i don't know what could be causing the pain in your chest. i hope it goes away for you soon! juliansmom= you have had 3fills and your total is 4.9ccs? i sure hope we both have restriction soon!!lol take care

congrats!! sounds like you are doing great so far!!! i just had my first fill also!! but i feel the same as before as far as restriction goes! i hope yolu feel a little more restriction,but i see on here alot that it can take a few fills before you feel it. good luck with everything and keep up the great work!!

hi everyone, i was just curious if anyone knows why when you go in for a fill under fluoro. why is it that when you go home you feel the same as before the fill? shouldnt i feel more restriction since my dr.watched the restriction level? i just had my first fill and thought since he was watching it that it would be alot better! i was hoping for just a little more restriction but feel the same! thanks everyone!:thumbdown:

I love using calorie counter by fat secrets!! Its an awesome app for the iphone it tracks everything and has a huge list of foods to pick from! And exercise tracker,and a barcode scanner to scan what you are eating or drinking right there and it saves it on your daily journal! Check it out i absolutely love this one!

great job!!! i was banded march 1st and im down 38pounds so far!! just had my first fill a few days ago but i do not feel like i have more restriction then before. good job everyone! keep up the good work!!

i had an infection around my port also! it took awile for it to clear up,but it will go away and you will get your fill and everything will be fine!! i go in for my first fill tomorrow.hope it goes away soon for you!

so im going in for my first fill and i just wanted to know kind of what i can expect? i have a 14cc band and was just curious if anyone knows how much they usually put in for your first one? my dr.does all of his fills using fluoroscopy. so will i have restriction since he can see how much i need? thanks everybody!:thumbup:
