  1. Hi all,

am worried sick right now - was banded in Mexico in 2006. Have had three fills, and am at goal plus/minus 6 pounds or so. have a banded doc that did my fills and who I see every quarter or so to make sure all is ok. Well, I have been having reflux, etc., and was given antacid...am totally freaking that I might have a slip or something...am scared b.c if my job finds out I have the band I could get fired and prosecuted....I know this is vague, but does anyone have any ideas on what to do: should I go camp out at an ER until someone can see me and at least do a barium swallow?? any ideas on what constitutes emergency for removal, or to even be seen for possible complications?

  2. Did they do a barium swallow on you to see what the issue was? I'm curious b/c I am experiencing heartburn, terrible weird burping up of burning stuff and coughing when I lay down, etc. I have never had a barium test. I"ve had three fills total about 2.75 in a 4 cc band, and when I mention it to the doc who I go to for checks (not a surgeon, but a doc with the band) she just gave me antacid. At this point I am terrified - I told my husband that I was going to go to an ER tomorrow and camp out until someone sees me and can tell me what the heck is going on.

I was banded in Sept 2006 and am goal weight - lost 89 pounds...

  3. <p>I'm 5'6"...got offf work at noon, and am sitting here watching my three year old fiddling with stickers and coloring books...can't get motivated for shit...am travelling for turkey day and am so not looking forward to the friggin' airport!!! can't wait to eat someone else's cooking lol not...

  4. Hey ALL - GO BLUE!!!! I am back after my first week back at work...job is awesome; commute sucks, oh well...Gonna be watching Big Blue whip some ass today....and riding my damn stationary bike too!! Good way to fit exercise in while its raining and totally shitty outside....but 60 degrees, so...

Love you guys - have been checking in even with no time to write...trying to keep on track sucks! Eat good all day; I get home and eat shit that my damn sabotaging sister brings in for my daughter....grrr....

  5. TERRY BICYCLE SALE!! That's right - for 2 days you can get half off everything (except bicycles) from Terry! Even on things already on sale. Saddles, too. The boss is away, inventory is high and we'd rather be out biking than counting so we're counting on you, instead. And just to make it super easy, we're throwing in free standard shipping.

Spread the word to all your bike sisters - we've never done anything like this before and it's doubtful we'll get away with it again. And remember, it's just 2 days: Wednesday and Thursday, November 14th and 15th.

  6. Hmmm...the only time mine buzzes is if the battery is low or if I pull it off my arm with a bra strap or if I sweat so much that the cvontacts lose conductivity, etc., and sometimes it does it a couple three four times a day I always wonder if that's my trainer checking up on me lolol

  7. LOL diamonds in that price category are CZ or glass...hahahahah...my birthstone is blue topaz, the most boring in the world...as an aside, went to start the new job today, got up at 0515, took my daughter to school at 0630, drove AN HOUR to get there only to find out that I wasn't supposed to start today b/c they don't even have the requisition for the opening approved???? WTF??? I was PISSED!!! AND wearing heels!!! HAHAHAHHAHA Have a good morning, everyone...what a day to quit smoking!!!

  8. I have been using the bugg for 5 months - and began the process with the understanding that I was roughly 35 pounds from goal - I wanted to get the exercise component integrated into my routine, and wanted to do the work rather than just let the band control my portions.....

  9. Thanks to all for listening to me feeling sorry for myself! Hey, has anybody else encountered the "problem" of not wanting to eat because its such a pain in the ass?? (not literally lol) I find myself barely making 1000 today, and nothing I've tried to eat seemed to go down easy...an apex brownie, strawberry streusel bar, a couple tablespoons of peanutbutter....jeez....

  10. I used to be sporty lol...since Iraq and the three knee surgeries I've been less sporty...<grin> good thing my hubby doesn't mind the 'butch' look. Yeah, Horny Toad and Title Nine are a little too casual..although, those Horny Toad pants fit my square/no ass and hips pretty well....

I'm liking being able to fit into smaller clothes, but I am not liking that those smaller clothes are so slutty...I want to be covered and a LITTLE stylish, but I am so NOT girly...to put a skirt, hose and heels (such as I can wear, bad knee means not too high heels) really just piss me off and put me in a BAD mood.....lolol

Am spending this Veteran's Day crying and being a mess...go figure..my Dad's birthday was today; he was a vet; friends and soldiers I lost in Iraq...hubby being on active duty and not home...just a wonky weird day for me...hope you guys are all doing well....
