12 weeks post op today...and an abdominal ultrasound revealed that my next surgery will be the removal of my gall bladder! Woot.....

18 weeks post-op today and I'm down 62.2 pounds - I'll take it!

8 hours later and I got 2 of my 3 classes planned to Spring Break...the third one's planned out for a couple of weeks. :::whew::: That's enough powerpoint lecture making, test writing, review sheet writing and planning for me.

Dr. Salimitari is just AWESOME. I'm 5 months out of surgery and down almost 60 pounds. I had no issues, no concerns...nothing. Life's been great! Finally home on my day off...cookin' some Tastefully Simple Perfectly Potato Cheddar Soup (Thanks Heidi Hawn Webb!) and getting ready to spend the rest of my day off planning lessons...I might even throw in some grading...we'll see. I don't want to be too ambitious!

Four hours later? We're cold, but have our soloist wristbands and seat tickets for the auditions tomorrow!

Goal #1 for the day: Plan all lessons for five weeks...which would take us to Spring Break .

Had a successful FFA Booster Member Auction tonight...and now I'm ready to grade, lesson plan and recover from the flu for the rest of the weekend. ::sigh::

Headed to the gym here in the complex because I was in the mood to just tune out the world and listen to music...turns out? I'm not feeling as good as I thought - it's hard to breathe when you're constantly sniffling and having to drink water to hold in coughs! Ugh. Short workout.
