Hello I have been reading your post for some time now and I appreciate the positive vibe I get from you...I was approved on 2-23-10 an go in on tuesday 3-9-10 to schedule my surgery. I am so excited. I am 41 years old around 240 lbs my first goal will be 175, I am a hairstylist and real estate broker, married with no kids....keep posting it is all helpful!

Thank you for responding, i am so excited about the opportunities of being the person i need to be. I weigh 245lbs and my goal is 175, I know that 65lbs is a good weight for me..that should put me in a size 10. I wear 18 and some 16 now at 5'5. Never been that small before so looking forward to feeling better. How do i edit my name so it does not show it in full was not aware when i joined that my whole name would appear on post or does it?

Hi, I am 41 but do not look it from NC and i am just starting the process. My initial consult with the doc is jan 13th and I have already scheduled my psych and dietician consult. Congratulations on your weight loss you have done well. FYI...i want to learn to poll dance for my husband. Do you have any regrets or are you totally happy with the band.
