These aren't the best. I'm going to take more after my shower today and make sure my camera flash is off first. Despite all the bruising I'm post op day 4 today and I still haven't needed any Vicodin at all. I'm very happy with my results. I had the no drain method Tummy tuck.

Today I can get up and down by myself! Pain is still at a minimum. Im so pleased with how I'm doing.

Oh and the important part- he removed 2.2 pounds of skin:)

I made it! I got my TT and breast implants yesterday. I was given a lot of Phenergan so I've been really sleepy and that's been the worst of it so far. I got a pain pump for my belly and so far I haven't taken any pain meds at all. Hopefully I can keep that up.

Thanks everyone! I live in a small town. It's only costing me $11,500 total. At the closest BIG city to me it's $10k for JUST a tummy tuck.o__O I'll update as soon as I can.

So excited!!! I'm doing a tummy tuck with full muscle repair and a breast lift and augmentation. My PS does the full muscle repair and then goes back in and sutures the muscles corset style. He said it gives a more defined waist line. He also uses the no drain technique and I'm getting a pain pump. I've wanted this for so long now! I must admit though, I had to take a deep breath when I went to pay for it all last week. I know it will be worth it though.

What you need is definitely a tummy tuck and not liposuction. I'm having mine done next week and I couldn't be more excited!!

Well my PS said he will do whatever my Lap Band surgeon says. My Lap Band surgeon is INSISTING I be completely unfilled:( BLech. I see him on the 12th for the unfill and at that time I'm going to try my best to talk him out of it or at least get him to take a little bit out but not the whole amount.

EEK! My PS said he does TT's all the time with the fill left in but he said he always leaves that up to the original Lap Band Surgeon. Well mine said it absolutely must come out:( I'm SO SCARED of gaining weight! My TT is 12/13. They wanted me to come in on 12/6 for an unfill and I said no way. I argued with them until they finally said I could come on 12/12. I don't want my band unfilled for too long. So I'm wondering how does refilling it work? I'm assuming I'll be too sore to have it refilled for a while right? How long before I can get it filled again and will they put all the fill back in at one time or do I have to have several fills? I'm getting muscle repair and a full tummy tuck and the PS is going to reposition my port. I'm more worried about gaining weight back then the surgery itself:(

I think you are crazy but then again I'm having a TT with Corset muscle repair, breast lift and breast augmentation next month and I'm hoping to be back up and going by 2 weeks also. LOL I do have a friend of mine that had an extensive TT a few months ago and she was out dancing 9 days later, so I guess anything is possible.

When I have good restriction I can't take large pills but my band is picky.I'll be tight for a few weeks and then loose for a week or two. I'm loose right now and I can take pills and eat bread which isn't good for me. Amber- You can also buy the generic Robitussin Expectorant. It's the same as the Mucinex and a bit cheaper.

Amber, I have sinus issues a lot lately. I've been taking the Children's liquid Mucinex. It gets expensive but it really helps!

I'm scheduled for December 13th. I can't wait!! The appointment was sort of mortifying but oh well. I'll look hot really soon!!

It's been a while since I've checked in but, my birthday was last week so I got a small shopping spree. I found SO MANY cute things that actually fit and look good. I bought some jeans in a size 6 that fit perfectly. I also got a skirt and a dress in a size 4! I can't believe it! I'm so happy with my results. I still feel like the fat girl though I see myself in the mirror and think yeah I look goodbut I'm not all that small. When will I get used to thenew me and accept it?

No but only because I don't think what I have is an infection. Usually when I have a sinus infection I feel much worse than I do now and I cough like crazy- to the point that I have to use an Advair inhaler. I'm not coughing at all right now. I saw my family doc last week. I've been on Zyrtec and Nasonex for years. She switched that to prescription Xyzal and Nasacort. That has helped some but not a ton. I do have sinus polyps that I see an ENT for but they are in my lower sinuses and not my upper sinuses so for now he's just watching them.

Well I actually did have apnea and upper airway restriction before being banded. I just want this feeling to stop. All these sinus issues are uber annoying at this point.

For the past month I have been having a TON of sinus/ allergy problems. When my sinuses are draining my band is super tight and I can do liquids only. When they stop draining my band loosens up and I can eat again. Its like liquids for 3 days then solids for three days. This cycle has gone on for a month now. This past Monday I got tight again and went back to liquids. I called my Lap Band surgeon and they had me speak with the bariatric coordinator. She said she had never heard of that and she would speak to my doc and call me back. It's been 2 days and still no call. Yesterday and today I've been able to eat small amounts- like 1/2 to 3/4 a cup. I'm not throwing up or getting stuck but I do feel like I have food in my throat. I'm not sure if I really do though or what. When my allergies flare up it always gets hard for me to swallow and I feel like there's a knot in my throat. What is going on? My last fill was months ago and I was fine until 4 weeks ago when my sinuses started up.

I normally have the same problem but now before surgery they apply a Scopolamine patch behind my ear. That gets rid of all the nausea from anesthesia and then I take Phenergan 30 minutes before pain meds. That stops the nausea from the meds. The two work awesome for me.

Yep my brother's wife had Hyper. It went untreated because the doctor's just didn't realize she had it. One night she passed out and he called 911. She ended up in ICU on a ventilator not responding at all and it was due to the fact that her thyroid was untreated. It scared me so badly. Something I won't forget. They told my brother she had had a stroke and it was fatal but they were totally wrong. She went home 9 days later on meds.

My health insurance and my doctor feel the same way. My doc only gives Synthroid and my insurance covers it for a generic copay. My labwork should be back Monday. I'm starting to thing I maybe on too much Synthroid though. A short walk lives my heart pounding and I have to sit down to catch My breath. My blood pressure is up again. I've been off blood pressure meds for months now and my blood pressure has never been high until now.

We don't have an endocrinologist where I live:( I did try the armour thyroid before though. I couldn't get past the taste and smell of it.
