I am so pleased with my arms - now saving for the thighs......

Oh the implants and breast lift was extremely successful. I can't believe how incredible they look! I'm 48 and "the girls" didn't even look this good when I was in my 20's.

Congratulations - January will be my 2 yr anniversary. I've never felt better.

I had it done to my arms. It got rid of probably 85% of my "batwings".
They are so sculptured now I look like I have worked out. I plan on having it done to my thighs also.

(2) years post-op and now it's time to fix "the girls". I am so excited.
Surgery is Thursday 12/22/11
The thought of seeing perk,y instead of the saggy mess I see now, is hard to imagine.
Has anyone had this procedure and can share with me the recovery?

I'm going to re-word this topic to describe me...........I don't "throw up" but I still get food stuck and "slime" at least once a week.
I am (20) months post-op, below my goal weight but it still happens and most of the time it's my own fault. I'm either in a rush and eat too fast or eat foods that I know I shouldn't even attempt. Personally I can't eat beef of any type, not even ground beef. NO type of bread works, but crackers do. And don't even try a tortilla - the dough just makes a BIG blob and must come back up.
If I stick to the right foods that I know work and then - CHEW CHEW CHEW - I do much better

Have you heard of Liposculpture? I had read some stuff online about it and wondered if it was a cheaper/less painful way of getting rid of the flapping wings....? Just curious....my arms are the bane of my existance and I would LOVE to be able to afford to get rid of them!
( Here's the website where I was reading about it -- http://www.pacificlipo.com/liposuction-faqs.htm - I had actually read a post of someone who had it done at this place...and then went to the website to check it out)
I had liposculpture done at PacificLipo in San Diego. My arms look amazing now. I plan on having my thighs done in November.

I shopped clearance everywhere I went! Celebrate your accomplishments............you deserve it!
I'm size (6) now and loving it!

I don't miss having to shop at Lane Bryant.
I love hearing "You are so tiny now!"
If I can do it so can you.....
-
I didn't have any restriction until my 3rd fill. I still don't eat much more than a cup at each meal.
If I can do it - you can too!!! Good Luck to all of you!

I had my surgery in January 2010 and I STILL can't tolerate any type of beef - not even ground beef.
bread is completely out of the question. I missed it in the beginning but now it's not a problem.

Keep up the good work~~~~Lap-Band works!

I am also a match for someone. I was notified (3) months ago. Currently the patient isn't well enough to undergo the transplant. I pray they found me in time and that she can gain enough strength so I can help her.

Keep up the good work - it works!

I still get stuck all the time. It's not a big deal to me. I just go to the restroom, lean over and it comes right up. You will learn what foods you can't tolerate. I had my surgery (18) months ago and still can't eat beef of any kind, flour tortillas or bread. I have no problems with rice or Pasta. Everyone is different.
-
Congrats - It works - I'm a LapBand success and you can be too!
-
Cheering you on also.......don't give up - the band works!
-
I enjoy high-end quality food as well. I'm a year and a half post-op and still can't tolerate any type of beef. I tried (1) very small bite of hubbys steak recently and ended up in the restroom withing minutes. Many people have problems with rice and Pasta but I do fine. bread - forget it - and to be truthful I don't even miss it.
I have become a big fish now. I haven't had a problem with any. Fresh fish and shellfish = yummy!
I do have a shake every day for Breakfast. It has just become a part of my life and I enjoy them. My band tends to be tighter in the morning so shakes work well.

I've spent months researching doctors in Tijuana, MX.
I decided on dr. Ponce de leon and will be setting my date most likely this week.
Almanza wasn't even a consideration.
