Violetacoqui, it is possible for everyone, post as many pics as you can of the past! This will help you when things slow down, because at first you lose so fast you can buy clothes fast enough! I would only buy a few pieces for work, because it gets expensive but I was a 24-26 a now a 12. it has been really slow the past weeks, but I always look back and that helps me keep going! 5.13.11 mir i have had good days and bad days. early in the day pretty tight, only coffee, around 10am i have lightly scrambled egg, noon soup, i have no apettite, not really hungry but eat because i know i have to. dinner, fish, tuna or ground meat. will see when i go on june 3rd.

05.02.11 got my fill on thursay, on liquids since then, but oh boy having to retrain myself, eat slow, drink slow..will see my dr. in 30 days, so lets see how far i get! Im so happy!

3.31.11 went to dr. rehnke yesterday, he is so sweet. he said everything is fine, I can start exercising again and will get a fill in 2 weeks. Still soar in my port reposition area, but is great. I gained 1lb so am excited to get on track again. God bless, M-

3.28.11 mir I have my follow up appt with dr rehnke on wednesday, we will see i still and having a little bleeding from the scar and am a little sore. Hopefully he will put in a stitch and I will be good to go..I will post on thursday, God Bless, M-

3.21.11 back at work today, still a little sore from my port relocation surgery. Everything went well, was in and out. surgery only took 30 minutes, was in at 630am and out by 900am. Incesion was right over the orginal surgery one so no new scar. Now no exercise for 3 weeks, i see the doctor on the 30th so we will see..God Bless all, m-

02.23.11 I had my appt with dr. Rehnke it went great he took me eventhough i had my surgery in venezuela. port repositioning 1500.00 and surgery suite 650.00 date 3.16.11. God bless. m-

2.16.11 I was so upset, my port flipped again and they werent able to fill. Tomorrow I have an appt witht he surgeon in St pete to see if he can do the repositioning of my port and how much that will cost since I am self pay. God knows what he doing. I guess it is just better to have a surgeon here to take care of me. Hopefully dr rehnke will take me as a patient, do my surgery, cheap! Prayer

2.1.11 I will be going to get another fill on Monday feb 7th. I ran another 5k on saturday, feeling great although the scale is stuck again. I have not weighed myself in a week, but i feel great. I know it will drop soon! it better, I can tell my clothes size 14 are feeling loser, I just keep looking at my old pictures and feeling greatful! I workout out 6 days of week and loving it! I am so glad to hear your first fill went well and it is a great time to get it before all the holiday eating. I find that the mental part is harder. We both started at almost the same weight. I had my surgery in feb. and I am at 207. I hoped to get out of the 200's but I had surgery last tuesday for girl stuff and cannot exercise for two weeks. But no worries, I sooo love my band!

Hola! I have been stuck at 207, but not worried, I wanted to be below 200 by jan 1st but I just had surgery for woman problems on tuesday, so I am thinking the general anestesia and not being able to exercise for the next two weeks wont help me get to that goal. I am so grateful for the changes so far and not getting upset about it...How are you doing? Have a great holiday! God Bless> m-

All is good, I saw my mom and dad back home and went to a my cousins 50th bday party and my family was in complete awww..I am so blessed to have such a great family. Cannot wait to go back next summer! Summer 2011 cannot wait!!

Thank you what I meant was I could barely swallow saliva, and was completely dehydrated and as soon as she took out half of what she added, I was able to without any problem. I too do not want to ever feel that way. I lost 12 lbs from fri to mon from the dehydration, so as soon as I go liquids back in and a week later I keep 9 lbs of the 12 off. My goal is to be under 200 by january 1. so 7 lbs to go...we will see..God Bless, m-

Hi Girls, I found out when i went for my first fill, that the only reason I felt I could not eat during the first few weeks was because of the swelling, not the band. When I went for my first fill my dr had put 1cc during surgery, some drs don't fill at all during surgery. So the weight loss at the begining was mainly due to starting my exercise regimen and mentally thinking I had my band. But oh boy once you get your fills then you good to go and eventhough your brain tells you you want that hamburger, you fisically can't eat it...I love my band!!!! God Bless, M-

11.2.10 mir got my third fill on friday. I had 5cc in a 10 cc band. She gave me 1.75cc and I was fine in the dr. office but started having trouble with my own saliva going home,(that should have been the sign to turn around), I tried to have hot tea when I got home. 2 sips and up it came. I was getting thru a cold so I thought since I was still congested, was not helping. And I know that the first 24 hours you usually swell around the port, i gave it 24 hours, sat was completely miserable. I felt like when you try to eat dry meat, just with small sips of water. I tried Hot water. Sunday hot water, jello a small spoonful and nothing. went back on monday, was dehydrated lost 12 lbs from fri to mon(dehydration) not fat. They took out half of what they put in and felt immediate relief! i mean immediate. They put in an IV and I drank 2 gatorades. Last night had soup and yogurt. Fell much better today. God Bless M-
