  3. Hey lady just checking in on you and baby - how is everything going?

  4. Hey there, thanks for friending! Looking forward to seeing your post op pics this month!

  5. Thank you! I feel amazing! Lovin' the new pic of you as well my dear! YAY US!

  6. Hey I read your comment on the new woman blog....I would look for another surgeon. 1 oz at a time is NOTHING... A cup at a time maybe, but 1 oz is a shot glass. If that's what the Dr is telling you, I would DEFINITELY find a new one.

  7. Hey Ms. Trina, thanks for the request...looked at your progress you look AWESOME!

  8. Glad to see you're healing quickly!

  9. Hey new friend! Thanks for the request! In faith all is well with you!

  10. A local AZ welcome! Hope you enjoy it here! Let me know if there's anything I can assist you with or answer for you. :)

  11. Thank you for the message and yes it's through Him and because of Him that all of this is possible. I got this done, mostly so I can do more work for him. I've been blessed with rapid recovery and healing and easy and quick weight loss thus far, it's been 2 weeks as of tomorrow and I'm ASTONISHED at the results. All I can do is PRAISE HIM! Blessings be upon you and yours. It's a pleasure to meet you!

  12. Just leaving you a quick hello! Hope you're having an awesome day!

  13. Welcome to the site! :)

  14. Thank you for the picture comment compliment :)

  15. Merry Christmas to you and your as well! WLIA, I went there first, I liked the Drs and staff but at the time the insurance just didn't work out.

Let's see I'm 8 days post op and eating regularly. Just being careful. The bulk of my meals are still softs/mushies but I'm eating solids being sure to just chew chew chew. I got some info from one of the leading WLS surgeon's office and it fell in line with what my body was telling me, even though he's not my surgeon his methods work for me. They said nothing but walking for a month and I've been doing that and the elliptical machine to get a jump start so we'll see how it goes.

  16. Merry Christmas to you too! May you and yours be blessed with love, happiness, peace, faith, joy, success, prosperity, and good health this Christmas and in the New Year!

  17. Not sure if that's because I'm swollen or if my surgeon gave me some restriction with the surgery. But I feel GREAT, no regrets here..anxious to get my surgistrips off so can start with the cocobutter and mederma treatments, cause this time next year I WILL be bare midriff somewhere tropical lol

  18. I do have a "full sensation" it doesn't take much at all for me. As for what I've been eating.. well I got in trouble from my dr's offfice lol.. but it's all been going down fine. I'm supposed to be on clear liquids which I did the first 48 hours then on day 3 I had "mushies" - my family was doing "turkmas" so I took 1/2 teaspoon of mashed potatos, green beans, jello, etc.. and I dipped my spoon into the piles and ate that, all in all I had about 3-3.5 teaspoons of food on my plate and didn't eat 1/2 of it.. I was FULL. I did however have room for pumpkin pie later, but I didn't eat the crust. Then I went to creamy soups and yogurt, jello and a shake here and there just to keep the protein up.

Today I had a zone bar, and broccoli cheese soup and again I'm FULL. Drinking water is the hardest for me. Pre-op I was drinking 100oz of water a day, it takes me about 4 hours to get through 1 16oz bottle of water.

  19. I'm feeling great my new friend.. expecting 100% tomorrow.. how did it go for you? What part of AZ are you in? I used true results scottsdale, you?

  20. How's it goin' band buddy? I feel good, just a lil' tender at incisions and very slight gas pain in my left shoulder but other than those minimal issues everything is GOOD! Hope you're doing the same!

  21. Hey new friend! So far so good, day 5, feeling good. Lil' gas pain in my shoulder but other than that doing well. Just be prepared to spend an hour longer than you should at TR for your appointments. The staff is nice and once you're in you're in and out pretty quick, but there's alot of sitting around and waiting. You'll see cheaper by the dozen and that other movie over and over and over again lol.. Other than that no real complaints. The surgeon, Dr. Nirmul is good and has a great personality. Dr. Suhoni-Skinner will be who you see most of the time, she's friendly as well once she warms up to you. I didn't do the consult/seminar with them. I'd attended so many of them over the last 5 yrs I knew what it was and just wanted to proceed. Just stick to it, find out what your insurance requires and you'll be banded in no time! :)

  22. Hey Dusty! just checkin' in on ya! Hope all went well!

  23. Hey there! To answer you question about gas pain:

Honestly I've just kept active and I didn't lay around. Even if I was "relaxing" or sleeping, I was in a recliner in a mostly upright position so the gas couldn't really deposit anywhere. Get up and walk every hour, even if it's just a few steps, get up and move.

Last night (night of day 4) was my first night in my bed, I was so comfortable, I overslept but evidently my body needed it. Short of my arm and shoulder hurting from sleeping in the same position all night (had to be careful of the incisions) my gas is pretty much gone and I feel 98%, then again I've only been up for about 30 mins lol..

I have some very light gas pain in my other shoulder but it's not really noticeable.

Also I only used the gas-x the first day and half, after that I stopped using it. Your body is a miraculous machine capable of healing itself, if you just do what it's telling you.

    Hope that helps.

  24. Quick hello to a new friend! Looking at your pics I'm inspired! Your progress is amazing!
