November 4th. I was only put on liquid diet the day before surgery is that normal I see everyone else posting about a 10 day diet?

I had the band and it did not work well for me. I had horrible shoulder and neck pain for years due to the tubing hitting a nerve. As soon as it came out the pain was gone, so now I am having the bypass I am a little nervous hoping the pain doesn't come back:) good luck

I have only used the water method also, and has worked grat for me plus i really dont think that any extra radiation is good for you unless you really need it. -
Does anyone have this terrible pain in their left shoulder? I was bannded on mon Dec 14th and can't take the pain. Does it ever go away

I too was banded on the 14th how are you doing? I too found that I can eat solids without any problems I hope I havent hurt anything with the healing process. Keep in touch Shayleen
