  17. Well it's going very slow and it is so frustrating for me that i kind found myself falling back into my old habits, it's not good when you have no restriction. I just have to sort out the issue of the brain and reprogram myself to get back into the grove you know what i mean?

It's a tough journey, but i am proud to say that i have now a week since i been working out and eating right. I am actually happy that i didn't gain all the weight back before i noticed and felt horrable.........So yeah i been on it hopefully i don't stop!! I am glad to here you doing well let me know how your first fill goes.... ttyl

  18. Hello there so you have been banded a little over a month now ........ how did it go for you?

  19. I am also sorry to hear about your loss =( yeah it is very tough!!! I also lost a parent (my father) 8 years ago on December 26th........ That was the toughest for me lossing my dad we were very close and till this day it feels just like just yesterday. It took me 5 years to except his death.... SMH!!! I will also keep you in my prayers....

  20. Currently I am at a stand still with weight loss my surgery date was in April and I’ve had 3 fills I have a little restriction but not much, I do try to stick to the right foods but at the same time I feel I don't eat enough and that is why I haven’t lost weight for the passed 2 months I am just going with the flow trying not to stress about it cause when I do then I end giving up on myself.

So how are you doing with the weight loss and when did you get surgery? Now that I told you enough or even more than you wanted to hear about me!!!

  21. Anyway losing weight has always been a struggle of mine for years... LAP-BAND?? was a thought in my mind for a about couple months before my sister passed away although at the time I was losing weight pretty good on my own. After she passed a way I kind of gave up on myself and gained back 20lb real quick. My highest weight ever was 247 take it I am only 5ft 2? tall (yeah a lot of weight for someone as short as me) this was from Aug to Dec. at that point I said to myself enough is enough! I called and made my appointment for 1-5-10 I weighed in at 223. So now after my 3 months and surgery I am down to 200.

  22. Sorry to hear about your little brother.. 6 years I bet it still feels like just yesterday. He was so young as well, I believe that is the hardest trying to understand why their life was cut so short for them.

  23. As you can tell I miss her so much I must say work has been really really hard to be at, but I guess dying is a part of life we may not understand it and we may fuss about it, but the way she lived life it kind of taught me so much and she would always say don't sweat the small stuff life is too short, and remember P (P short for my name) do what you can with what you got!! That was her advice all the time to me if I’d worry about anything. She was just so different it really is unexplainable. Well to honor her on her death anniversary we had a mass for her and went to her garden as my daughters like to call it and let balloons go up in the air in her memory... Talking about her really helps!!! Thank you for listening or reading i should say!

  24. We were really very close but we were also so different she was a very out going happy go lucky type of kid, she was truly loved by so many people!!

She and I both worked together. I been at my job for 10 years now, and she was at her job for 5. It was so funny because me being at my job for that long when we would go to lunch together I knew hardly anyone cause all you'll get is a smile from me and her on the other hand she just seem to know everyone, and talk with anyone. I would make fun of her at times because of it, I'd tell her "OMG Jojo it wouldn't surprise me if you even stop and say hi to the dam stray dogs" lol

  25. Thank you!! :) getting through that day wasn't so hard of course being with all my family helped!! I have 4 sisters and 1 brother she was the youngest only 27 years old she was very young she passed away unexpectically... I can't help not talking about her. She was that type of person that really left a stamp in your heart and was so full of life, very beautiful, So FUNNY, I swear she would light up a room; she didn't like to see anyone down in the dumps at all. She had something about her that she knew how to make everyone feel good about themselves, was never a judgmental person. Now to me not just because she was my sister, but she was one of a kind!
