    Itching??

Itching is quite normal unless the incisions are hot to touch, red, or have excessive drainage. Itching is a sign of the healing process.

    HELP!! Sweating???

I was banded on 12/17/09. For the past two weeks I've been experiencing extreme sweating under my belly fold (even though it's getting smaller) and in the crease of my groin. Anyone experiencing this. It's SO annoying. I never experienced this even in the summer and now is the dead of winter!!

    Weighing Yourself?

My name is Ida and I'm a scale addict!!! Ha, ha. I must admit, I've tried all these scale tricks. Standing on the edge, standing on one foot. Moving the scale an inch up or down, left or right, and hopping back on. I will say though that I only consider the weight at the doctor's office official.

Hi Bama! I'm having the same problem. I had to use some Miralex. It worked like a beauty. I'm just so alarmed by this because I used go at least once a day, more depending on what I ate.

Hi Jem: I am a nurse as well. I returned to work and 1/5 and the first day I was exhausted when I got home. Although I wasn't hungry I was actually missing the mechanics of chewing. I did find that work help to think about it less.

    Wonderful 25 calorie coffee drink

I'm so going to try this. I have Starbucks sugar-free vanilla and hazelnut syrups. I'll use decaf because I haven't had any caffeinated beverages since before pre-op diet.:tt1:

    Exercise Equipment

I have Leslie Sansone walking DVDs and some Firm DVDs. I was banded on 12/17/09 and I recently started with these DVDs. I also joined the gym since I don't have the space or money for the kind of treadmill I need. I will start at the gym tomorrow.

I use the injury. I have the Vanilla (which I mix with skim milk), the strawberry sorbet (which I mix with either water or lemon juice), and the chicken soup. I send away for the samples first. The chicken soup is a little salty to my taste. I also like the Chike flavors but they cost significantly more.

Alli try your best to ignore them it's worth it!!!! I was banded Thursday afternoon. I am having some gas discomfort and soreness of my throat and stomach but I feel 90% better. I remember on day 10 of pre-op diet my son came through the door crunching on these doritos. I heard that crunch all the way in my bedroom which is all the way in the back of the house!!
  22. So far I still have some soreness. The thing that is bothering me the most is my throat!!

    December Bandsters 2009

Good morning, Today is my second day post-op. I still have soreness in my abdominal area but it is less than it was yesterday. The beginning of last night I was so uncomfortable because I had to try to find a new way to sleep. (I usually sleep on my stomach) I did buy a travel size pillow to help with my stomach discomfort before hand and it works. I'm not really hungry but i do have to tell myself to go the bathroom to pee. Is anyone else experiencing that? The thing that hurts the most is my throat!!! Good Luck to all!!!
