    Drinking too fast

That is what usually happens, and I am almost 5 years out! Even today, if I drink too fast it will come back up, or I will feel miserable for a long time until it finally goes down, it is best to drink sips, or at least slowly!

    Why Is It?...

I agree, rant away, you will find a lot of too drastics or just exercise more, or just diet! Lapband, sleeve, etc all are drastic but we know that we need drastic measures, too! We need to take the measures that we have taken because we can't control our yoyo. Wishing you the best of luck.Karen

Oh my, there are two things I cave, chocolate and peanut butter! i just made myself an iced coffee mocca. It hit he spot. I know that we can and can't give into cravings, but sometimes we have to do what we have to do!
  10. It so all depends on you and your healing. My surgeon(who had his surgery done in Mexico) said he had surgery on Friday and was operating on Monday. I am not sure that i could do that. But it all depends on your healing and your surgeon. best wishes.

Feeling guilty for living in Florida...

And Mother Nature and God have given us the most marvelous weekend in a long time! Dry air and warm temperatures. Almost too cool for the pool for this transplant Floridian.

    Banders Exercise

Enjoying another morning in Sunny central Florida! Temps still only in the high 60's and low humidity! Took a brisk walk today, estimating about 3 mph pace. Was great and produced a sweat 1/2 way thru. Have a great weekend folks.

    Banders Exercise

I hope that you had a happy birthday, Sillyauntdi!
  19. I'm sorry if anyone mistook me showing a pic of myself( as an example as others before me did to show how you can cover a sleeveless dress) as stealing a thread... That was never my intention at all... I was simply trying to show an example... And for the record I think everyone who posted an example looks beautiful in there dresses!! And thank you for the complement!! No at all, I didn't want something thinking that I was hijacking their thread by complementing you in your dress!
  20. You look great in that dress(don't like stealing someone's thread tho')!

    Courthouse wedding, reception later?

Thank you, and see KristanaRNY, most everyone of us responding have had long happy marriages. it is not the locale, it is the person!

    Stuck? Warning signs?

My stuck episodes happen right away, too. And if I am going to pb, it is usually pretty immediate. My son, who also has lapband, can get stuck and pb either right away or hours later. All bodies are different. I hope that by now, you have found comfort. Warm coke,(I know we aren't supposed to drink soda), or warm Water, can help your stuck go down.

    Courthouse wedding, reception later?

I,also, eloped. 44 years ago on May 5. I was living out of state with my sister. i did not want to go thru the big wedding thing. My dad had blown his mind and pocket book 2 years previously on my step sister's big wedding. I was given a 1 way 1st class ticket out of town. So, when it came time for a wedding, the courthouse was my thing. (I must say, it never even occured to me to to ask my priest for a simple wedding)!Anyway, I found it pretty romantic, it can be as romantic as you want. some girls come in jeans, and some come in wedding dresses. i chose a pretty short white dress that could be worn later, too. Best wishes, and congratulations on your upcoming marriage. Since both of us that answered have had long and still going marriages, they can last, too!
