  1. Thanks!! :) Thinking back to November 2009, I'm practically a different person. I haven't regretted my decision for a minute. I'm a little over halfway to my goal and I FEEL wonderful! I'm just enjoying life. Best of luck to you on YOUR journey!!

  2. I did win the raffle!! I just bought my planes tickets. :)

  3. Your ice cream and popsicles comment made me laugh because the doctor was telling me I had to eat soft foods and he asked me if I understood. I was like Dude...I have a Lap Band, so yeah, I know from a soft diet. :) I'm SO not looking forward to this, so I appreciate your kind words. Hugs, chica!

  4. You asked me about Jazzercise... I LOVE IT! It combines cardio with strength training and flexibility so you get everything in one class. Sometimes it depends on the instructor, of course, but it is the only thing I have stuck with as an adult. The most important thing is to move, right? So you just have to find the activity that most makes you want to keep moving! Jazzercise is that for me. Good luck with whatever you choose!!

  5. That you for your sweet wall post! What a way to end the day. :)

  6. Thanks for sweet comment! I guess we notice change in others more easily than in ourselves. :)

  7. Hee hee! :) I did have a great weekend!

  8. I aggravate myself regularly. Ha! I don't know what I would do without this site and all of the valuable information and support I get. It is truly a blessing for me. Now, go do 10 pushups for crying out loud!!! Just kidding. :)

  9. ::throwing motivation:: :) I think if you are out here, you are in a way soliciting advice, so giving/getting it make sense. My blog today was targeted to the "real world". Ha!!

  10. Thanks for mentioning the water bottle ice packs! I used to do that in the past and it was a good reminder that I should start doing it again. Thanks!!

  11. You are too sweet! I will have to try the peppermint Bath & Body foot cream. It sounds delightful!

  12. I got my Body Bugg online through 24 Hour Fitness. It definitely isn't necessary, but I have found it to be motivational!

  13. Jax is the name I gave to my Body Bugg. It is a device that tracks actual calories consumed. As I input my calorie consumption the online program that comes with it help me track my calorie surplus/deficit. It is very interesting, but I haven't had it long enough to know if it actually helps. I will continue to update my blogs!

  14. Hi girl! You asked me about the metabolism test. I went through True Results for my procedure and they offer the test for $75. I would think that many nutritionists would offer it or know where to get it as well. Sometimes insurance will pay for it, I think. Not mine though. It was pricey, but I decided that I really wanted to have the information. I will be interested to see if the Body Bugg tells me similar information!

  15. Wow...thank you! I would love to talk to you about LB. I will send you a private message with my email address. :)

  16. I DO love to shop!! HEE!!

  17. Yvette, thank you for your response to my blog post! I want to make sure you understand that I agree with you completely. What I was trying to get across in my post is that while some things have stuck with me (like my guy friends comment) and I have always blamed my weight for a lot of things, what is important is what radiates from within. It is important for ME to love me. I certainly didn't mean to indicate that bigger women don't date (quite happily even!) Again, thanks for the feedback!

  18. I actually had to get out of my chair and walk around the office to keep from crying after reading your response to my blog post. :) You are so sweet! It is so helpful for me to get all of these feelings out. It is like exorcising (or should I say exercising? Ha!) all my demons.

  19. Hugs to you too! Thank you for the support today. Today's post was a tough one! Sometimes I forget how much I let the judgements of my childhood control me still. I will get there though!! :)

  20. That sounds like a fabulous birthday!!

  21. August 10th will be here before you know it. Good luck!!

  22. That ankle bracelet will be dangling in NO time!!

  23. I can't remember the last time I had an ankle bracelet. Probably the last time I was thin(ner). Ha! Good luck getting there. It is always fun to have a goal!!

  24. Somhow I missed your last blog post. Congrats on beating that nasty 200 number!! :) I still have several months to go, but I'm pushing it as much as I can. I'm so glad for you!

  25. Thanks! Yesterday was my first time on the bike so I really had no idea what was "good" or not. I just try to push myself a little. YOU are such an inspiration!
