  1. Thank you! Also another question how does someone set it up so their ticker automatically shows up on the posts?
  2. I find if I eat bread it can be difficult and I did have a nasty episode once with getting stuck bad and was in trouble until I was able to throw it up. But that was the only time it happened and I hope that was the last. Where can I buy papaya enzymes?

    Do you drink soda?

I don't drink soda but i do drink coffee and find that it does not stimulate my apetite at all.
  4. I had my surgery on October 8th and at about two and half weeks out I had lost about 20 pounds and since then nothing. I dropped two more then the next day gained them back. I get my first fill this coming Monday and I am on solids now. Its so frustrating and I am hungry a lot of the time. They said something about once your stomach heals and the swelling goes down you will get hungry until your first fill. But honestly I am eating much healthier and far less than before and have no idea why I can't seem to drop anymore weight. In my life I have eaten more on regular diets and lost weight. If anyone knows what happens after the first fill I would like to know. Will it take care of the hunger? Will the protions become smaller again like they were soon after surgery?
  5. Thank you!! No I have not had a fill yet. I get my first fill this coming Monday. Do you have to fast before the fill?
  6. I didn't know that we had to go back on a liquid diet after a fill. Do you know for how long you are on liquids for after fills and if you have to then go back on soft foods again before you can eat solids?
  7. Well yes, I have been utilizing my willpower :-) and walking and joined a gym and will start personal training as soon as I get the all clear for abdominal excercises. I was just gettign worked because I am hungry and do not feel any restriction. I guess that comes with the fills?

    Incision site question

Hi all! I had my surgery October 8th and its interesting how different all the instructions can be. I had the laproscopic proceedure done outpatient and left with only the glue. I was told we could shower but to face away from the water stream and to let the water and soap flow over but to keep my back to the water flow. They told me not to put any kind of cream at all on my stomache and to not touch or pick at the glue at all and to just let the glue fall off over time and when it does not to pick the scabs. Well I am over two weeks out and things seem to be healing very well and at the three week point was told we can take a bath if we wanted to. I want to wait though until the bigger incision right above the belly button is very clearly healed.:wink2: Seems that this past friday which is just two weeks past surgery for me I turned a corner and started to feel great with my energy back, tacking house cleaning projects and I even danced this weekend. So hang in there and soon you will be dancing too.
