Persistance

Hey Girls: I had the chance to watch the video of my procedure (I'm a surgical tech), the "tour" the cammera took inside me really woke me up!!!. Watching all that fat wrapped around the organs was scary. I was 250 lbs. at my heaviest and my chest was huge for my 5'4" frame. I was a 40 DDD or F. Now after losing some weight (170 lbs now) I'm a 36 DD. I had to addmit I ate like a very happy piggy during christmas:guess , but like a good Texan here I go....jump on the saddle again. Giddy up girls!!! Today is a new day!!!! "Yesterday is gone ,we only have today...tomorrow only God knows. YES LORD!!!!!!

Hi there.... I was banded March 2006.(From size 20 to 13 now and from 40 DDD to 36 DD ) I smashed my meds and then put them on a spoon with a bit of water.Then I put them in my mouth and swallowed them with apple juice. Another thing I did was to sip them with a straw that was cut in half.(the medicine was mixed with a bit of apple juice). Good luck to you!!! Happy Holidays!!!!!

Hi my name is Maro..and I'm from Texas. I had my operation last March of 2006,At Chihuahua, Mexico with Dr. Ramos Miranda. My starting weight was 248lbs. Now I weight 170lbs. I was wearing size 20 jeans and I was a 40DDD, now a size 12 and a 36 DD. My procedure was easy and my recovery excellent, very fast. Up to date I had two fillings done. And I hope to achive a goal of maybe 140lbs.

I agree with Carlene...Only God does. As a catholic I can tell you that the church is very different now.....my 90 year old grandmother (Bless her heart) keeps saying that is wonderful how now ,all religions view each other as brothers and sisters in Christ...when before we were all about attacking each other

OOOOOk girls: If God is sending the children..welcome, but even God things thet the RYTHM method is a good idea.....If the problem is a religious one. The priest that married my husband and I made the comment "If my mom had decided that having already 7 kids was enough..who would be here maring you two??? (So .....what to think...????? Yes, if you take care of your children, feed them , clothe them and love them ...is your bussines, but as a teacher I know that is extremely hard to be able to pay attention, keep track and have energy for more then 3 kids is suuuper hard!!!

Oh Devana: About the photos...I'll take some this Christmas and then I'll ask my daughter how to post them..I'm not computer savvy...but you know kids..they know everything .....

Hiya Amy: El Paso Tx, here!!! I had my LP done las March 06. NO regrets at all!!! I was a size 20, now a 12, 40 DDD and now a 36 DD. You can only get healtier!!!! And yep, it takes dicipline and yes you will fall of the horse more then once.....but as a wisw girl from N>J said " Is not perfection, but persistence what wins the race".... You'll do great!!! Hi Felicia: Yup... some people are very negative, I have "friends" who , when somebody tells me that I look great ,get kind of upset and reply by saying "Yes, but she got an operation". C'mon, like after the surgery was easy to be good and eat right, to stay motivated and excercise pleeease if envy had a color for sure they would be green!!! well ..... I understand that some doc's opinion was that it was extremely dangerous to lose so much wight at once!!! Anyway, I was a size 20, now a 12 and I do have an "apron" and my arms are firm only because I excercise. I'm planning to get plastic surg, when I finish losing all the weight. Meanwhile I'm wearing a great griddle that makes me look the way I will like to really be ....LOL

:clap2: Hi I've lost 65lbs and hated to excercise, until I started a jazzercise class. You will do aerobics, weights and pilates, all in one hour, while you dance!!! I love it!!! I enrolled through the community college and it wasn't expensive at all!!
