It was me the one who said that if he was to be working in a less public place (a Dr's Off.) he would be fired.(REDICULUS...just kidding For some people racial jokes are funny, my husband is North American (White) I am not, he likes to tell jokes that involves people of different races(black,french,latino). He enjoys this things..I just don't. Baby: What really surprise me is that some women do not feel offended by this!!!! C'mon if a guy comes and calls me Ho to my face...he is going to walk a long way to be able to find his teeth. Many guys act the way they do because ,if they insulted a girl once and nothing happened ..why not do it again? We somehow "educate" or "condition" the people around us to respect us or not depending on our own actions (and re-actions). FAITHMD: Ridiculous to fire the man???? Let's say he did this while working at a doctor's office or at any other "less public" work place then , Would it be ok to fire him? If your own daughter was part of this team, would you feel the same way? Why excuse this kind of behavior? Why not support decency,respect and tolerance? Yes, we all say stupid things because we all are humans.I know that if I say something like this I will get fired. YOU would get fired too. The sad part is that we "get used to" vulgarity, racism and hate. Please, as women we need to support each other, white, black, asian, hispanic.... darn it, as women we have enough to worry about: family,periods,cancer,work,ageing, weight and so on....

I was talking with my high school junior about this incident and she was telling me: Mom can you imagine all this kids in 10 ten years talking to their own children? Dad: To his 3rd grader “hey nappy hair Ho” how was your day at school my “little bitch”? Child: Yo Dad!! School today was kind of sh….y ,that teacher Ho gave us a lot of homework. Dad: That’s ok , you need homework in order to be a smart, productive member of this f…en society. She was explaining to me that many teachers nowadays use the same kind of language to appear “COOL” and to “connect” with the students. She was telling me how her teacher went on and on about how he and his “hommeys “ used to smoke “pot’ during test time to be relaxed and be able to study. Pleeeease what can we expect if we have so many “teachers” ( weirdos!!!!) ruining the work of some good parents and of some other excellent teachers who are working hard to make a difference?

NO REGRETS!!!! I was banded March 25,2006. I used to be a 40DDD bra. Now I'm a 36DD. Used to be a size 20, now a 12.Used to weight 250lbs now160lbs. Before I suffered from asthma,kneepain,backpain,shortness of breath and irregular heartbeats. And the well know syndrome: "WHAT THE HECK SHOULD I WEAR IF NOTHING FITS!!!!" every morning. Yep I too have some skin and boob "loseness" Oh but all of this is sooooo not important. Now I know my chances of "NOT" having a heart attack are better then before. Thank you Lord for second chances,for supportive people,for this new life!!!! Thank you for having a job and a roof over my head !!!!!! Well as you can see...no, no regrets here.

I am changing careers. Until the spring classes start, I am working as a sub/teacher at my child’s school. The rap music is a big influence on the kids!!!! You can hear our African-American children calling each other “nigger””Ho” , the Hispanic ones calling each other “beaners””F..Immigrant” and the Anglo children calling each other “cracker”, ”bitches” etc… It got so bad, that the counselors called for an assembly. It was hard for the children to understand why it was wrong to call each other names. “But I’m of the same race as he/she is, and I’m not offended” “ Is just a joke” “Is cool with me if he calls me a HO” “Oh my friends knows that I don’t mean it “that way. This and other comments were the ones that we heard that day. They don’t comprehend the real meaning of this words.The singers are not punished for using them, and this singers are “successful” and rich. So what is wrong with this??? Is this freedom of speech? Is this just an innocent, jokingly way to call each race a little name? My children wouldn’t even think about doing that. They know exactly why this is wrong. Is it the children’s fault, or the parents fault for allowing this kind of music at home???

Woa 396 power.! Why the anger??? We come here (LBT) to support each other differences. Take it easy. Have an open mind. Like Carlene I'm a Catholic, Pro-life, but Republican. I have friends who are pro-choice,Mormon and democrat. All those differences just enrich my life. C'mon let us get to know you. For sure we can agree on something

Picture this: You are home with your children. Everybody is sleeping. You hear a noise and know (No doubt) that somebody ALREADY IS IN YOUR HOME! What do you prefer, to have a gun or not? If somebody breaks into a home knowing that people are sleeping inside, is obvious this person is not going in just to steal. He is willing to use force to get what he wants. What if YOUR children are in his plan (rape, kidnapping…etc) . I rather have a gun. I grew up around guns.My dad belongs a shooting range club. He tought us never to touch them if he was not around. Is incredible that some people go to jail for killing an intruder in their own home!!!!

We feel that we have to impress other women, not exactly our own man or other man, but OTHER women. I have three brothers. My brother was saying: Where you girls see a big butt, we see beautiful curves. Where you see a "fat" girl we see a voluptuous woman."You girls think that you know exactly what man like, and the reality is that is you women the ones that are so freaking hard on each other". Hey I was proud of myself when I got to be a 16 (used to be a 20). Why is it that sometimes as women we cannot support other women? I cannot imagine a group of guys saying. Well I have not been here in a while; I came back because I was feeling blue.:cry :cry Yesterday a friend told me that a group of “Friends” went out to eat together and had a conversation in my honor:tired “Sure, she lost a lot of weight, but she took the easy way, she got that band crap” “Like that anybody can do it, how come she didn’t diet and exercised like everyone else” ”She is just f… lazy!!! (The biotch who said this is a size 16) What the @##&*^&%$^%$ !!!!! Damn if you are fat, you are a pig and if you lose weight, you are a lazy biotch that took the easy road. Like having the band doen’t take discipline and exercising!!! Oh I’m soooo angry!!!
