  1. I gained 2 lbs the day after surgery, but I believe that is caused by gas (mine started 2 day after and I did not have a BM until this morning after taking a laxative.) I had my surgery Monday also and still very sore and swollen. I just weighed in and lost the 2 lbs so I'm back where I started.
  2. Yea, I'm swollen also and feel like I can deliver anytime now. They say the 1st 2 months are the hardest and then it becomes normal (whatever that is).
  3. I'm 2 days out and I have the same gas problems that you do, belly and sides. I have been doing the puree food (taking my own and making baby food out of it) It hasn't been too bad except for the diet coke I can't have. I still have not had a bowel movement but I will take something tonight if nothing happens. What are you eating and drinking??
  4. :thumbup:I was banded yesterday 9th of October 2009.
  5. I was banded on the 19th of Oct 2009 also.
  6. I was banded yesterday 10-19-09. It was not as hard as doing the med-fast diet for 2 weeks before the surgery.

My insurance is the except I don't have a co-pay, I have to pay every doctor or prescription until I hit $2100. I was just banded yesterday and I had to pay the remainder of the deductable plus every visit for 6 months at $60 a visit. I sure do hope this works because I have tried everything else
  8. I am being banded today by Dr. Curry, and I know it will be hard for a couple of months, but I have been told by people who have been there that it does get better and by the 2 mont mark you will be doing fine. That is what I have been told so I am standing on that and by the Grace of God and prayers He will watch over me and give me strength.
