  1. I am a 40H and absolutely love the Wacoal brand. the underwires are on the outside of the bra - VERY comfortable and supportive for running.

OMG.... finally someone on here that has the problem i have ..... i wear a 38H... currently i wear my reg. bra, a sports bra and the "liner" bra that is built into the workout tank (all at the same time).... it is so uncomfortable. I would love to start running, but my breast hurt so bad the next day. I feel like i got punched on each side...

I'm going to look up the web site you recommended. Did you buy your size or did you go down a size?

    Thanks

  2. I'm a member at the YMCA, Started Zumba all most a year ago.... I LOVE IT!!!! Trouble now is so does everyone else. The class has gotten so big. It really is for everyone... fat, skinny, old and young..... Our Y offers a "learning" class on Thursday. they do the same dance two or three time so you can get the hang of it.

But, for first timers.... I concur with the others, go to the front so you can see (off to the side). Concentrate on the feet first, then include the hand/arm movements. Don't worry about doing it right... the whole object is to just move. Let the instructor know you are new and they will watch out for you. We have one lady that knows none of the moves (she started before me), but she goes to the back of the class and does her own thing... i think that's great.

My problem now is, I have lost 70lbs and i want MORE. I have about 20lbs or so left ... I need to start some hard core training and don't have the motivation.

  3. So today i started my 2 week preop diet. I feel so discouraged as if i cant do this, Im very very weak since ive had nothing to eat today, the Protein shakes are AWFUL! i already almost threw up twice just from tasting them. the Protein Bars on the other hand are delicious and i enjoy them. My doctors diet for me consists of 1 Protein shake for Breakfast, lunch and dinner and a Protein Bar inbetween meals only 2 a day though. sugar free Jello, broth, propel drinks, crystal light drinks, and carrots, cucumbers, and lettuce. What i was afraid of at the beginning was the starvation feeling, and thats how im feeling right now. I wish there was something else that was "enjoyable" to eat. I know this sounds like a vent, but its my first day on this diet and mind you i havent dieted in a while and it was nothing compared to this. I know a few other people who live around me who have been banded and there diet wasnt half as strict. anyone else have other things allowed? I really want the strength, courage and determination to continue on with this i just feel discouraged at the moment. Thanks for listening. =D

My dr. allowed us to have Soup. Could not eat the chunky stuff in side the Soup (potatoes, carrots... etc). My saving grace was the Broccoli soup at Apple Bee's. vanilla boost, very cold and drink it fast. But i'm not going to lie and say i didn't cheat, because i did. I didn't go out and eat a steak, but I did eat a few bites of chicken. I was on vacation on my "two week" diet. So all week at every restaurant it was "i think i'll have the SOUP".......But on a positive note i did lose 8lbs. If you have to eat, find some thing low in sugar. The reason for the diet is to make the liver softer so it can be moved out of the way with minimal effort for the dr. I know people who had not diet before at all....

Stay strong.... you can do it, don't give up. This is so worth it. Two weeks of starving to lose 70lbs in a year was worth it all....... Banded 11/10/09

  4. II was banded October 6th 2010 and lost 40lbs in the first three months... but then - then it all got out of hand. I have no restricition even though when I go to have my fills and drink barium it hardly goes through. But then I go home and - no problem.

I feel like I failed. I feel like its another failure in loosing weight. Even my boyfriend always reminds me to stop eating.

I did loose 42lbs... that is great...

it has been 6 months since the surgery and they are trying phentermine again but it only makes me 20% less hungry.

I eat about 75% of how much I was eating before the surgery.

Anyone - ??? Anyone??? Does anyone have or had the same problem and how did you deal with it???

Don't beat your self up.... your doing fine. I did the same thing. At first I felt hardly any restriction and had to monitor my food in take. Dinning out was hard for me, so I started portioning out what I know to be about what I should eat and put the rest away.

I was banded nov. 10, 2009 and until March I had only lost 40lb pounds. But then I started exercising and the rest just came off. I started at 223 and now I weigh 153. It has taking me a year and three months. Remember every ones weight loss journey is different. Embrace the pounds you have lost.....
