I'm trying to think when i left for a while i did gain weight. Not sure if that was from not coming, having the band removed, are the 30lbs gain.... i'm sure it all factors in. But either way, i don't miss a few of the people...... But, i do miss a lot of them.

You know.... i really don't know. but a very good question.... I do have a few that are doing ok..... one just revised to the sleeve and he is doing great.... down 100lbs

@alissajs....So glad your brought it up in counseling... and that he went with you. That is huge. as for....this... As for those telling me to stop being so sensitive and just get over it, I am happy that you might be able to do that. However, I am allowed to feel however I feel (whether you think that is right, wrong or indifferent) and you dont know the background I come from...just as I dont know your background. Something that hurts you might not hurt me, and vice versa. Thankfully we all have our place in this world. I'm ok with being sensitive at times. Its not always a bad thing I, like you, am sensitive and could not just get over it either.... I play crap over and over in my head. You did the right thing bring it up and the only place to go it up.... Maybe make a safe spot in your home where the two of you can come together and talk about you and your feelings... and him and his feelings. He is going through changes with you. But you can't keep it bottled up.

So I asked this of another friend.... but i'm extending here also.... Tell me about your favorite vacation. Tim and I are trying to plan something and we keep changing our minds.... We are Looking at June 1-5th. We want to stay in the states. Were thinking about the USVI of St thomas/John/Crox.....and it is still possible.... but we have to get to planning. Mind you.... I don't want to go where there are a lot of kids.... Relaxing is high on the list of things to do...... We were also thinking Napa Wine Train.... or down to Destin, Fl.... Really we could any place.

I remember Lipstick...... she hated me .... good riddance b*tches..... I think she may have gotten kicked off that one too. I do miss my friend Dub. I do still talk to a lot of people that dont come her anymore. Most all have gained all their weight back. Two that were my inspirations.....

Just because you CAN eat a lot of food, doesn't mean you SHOULD. The dr. and NUT give you a plan to follow. It's for a reason. Portion control ............ and remember you can't eat what you don't buy.

I will admit I have a few.... but like someone said, been here so long, they have weeded themselves out. I'm sure I'm on a few as I know I can be blunt. Have had some differences of opinion.... But there is a few people still here that think they are the "be all". I like coming here and meeting people, talking, helping, and have them help me. Just for the record.... why are yall having to stay in for 4 weeks? Is covid on the rise there? Don't hate me, but things are opening up more and more. Cases are way down. Mr. got his vacc #1 was ok, shot #2 was horrible..... he got super sick. High fever, chills, shakes, body aches he most slept for about 2 days. He said it was worse than when he had Covid.... I sure hope things get back to normal.... soon. We have a vacation planned to St. Thomas in June....

@alissajs Ok, so if i'm reading this correctly, you have been married for just over a year. Is that correct? And if I read between the lines, he did something besides this that is already put your marriage on alert..... Is this correct? Coming from my POV.... I can see where it could be hurtful what he said. But, like a few have said, women don't have the same POV as men in certain situations. "Most" men can get over things more quickly..... I bet he didn't even realize what he said (not excusing it)..... I, like you, would be going over it in my head again and again. I have a husband now that easily picks up on my feeling (normally written all over my face). My x did not. But he really didn't care either. He was/still is a very self-centered controlling man. If you continue to "let it go".... next thing you know... You will have years of resentment..... till you are planning your husband's death in your head while you lay next to him in bed..... Just saying it could happen. From experience, this will fester like a boil on a butt..... Eventually, you are going to have to pop it and let the healing begin. It will either go away or take over your entire a$$. If you guys can't handle this, please don't have any kids.... at least not till you had years of therapy....Imagine all the problems you have now x1000000000000..... and now you have another human involved.

so my jaw hit the floor... what a horrible thing to say. My 2 cents..... don't tell her or anyone else about the SX. You will thank me in the long run. No family, no friends, no co workers..... if you can uber to and from... Do it. People are mean and judgemental.... they will say the most horrible things.... Even the people who love you the most. If your mom ask, tell her you changed your mind and you are going to diet and exercise. I can tell you right not, this "mother" will continue to make cracks and will not be supportive. If she asked, tell her you don't want to talk to her about it anymore.... you do you.....

Yep.... was married 26 years..... Same here, it got worse after PS. But, mine was never supportive of my WLS ever and never supportive of the PS..... I begged for the last few years to go to counseling, but he would not go. He regrets that now, but what's done is done. I have a wonderfully supportive husband now..... So happiness is achievable.
