After the death of my mother and the birth of 2 kids in 2 years I was heavier than I had ever been in my life  I was tired of not fitting into my "skinny" clothes in my closet and having to shop in the "plus" size section of a dept store.  I decided after the birth of my daughter I was going to really focus on getting off my extra weight.  My cousin had the gastric bypass a year ago and looks fabolous!  She was a real motivator for me.  My husband always said he loves me know matter what my size, but I was getting so self consious that I began pulling away from him.  Finally I asked my ob/gyn if he could refer me to a lap band dr, and thats how i learned about dr. fox.  the approval process took forever, but im almost 1 week post op and down 15lb since my inital journey.  I pray that I can get the weight off and enjoy something even better than french fries, mexican food and pizza...my family!
