Amanda thanks for the luck. The removal went fine. Good luck on your journey
Atgoalgal thanks for your msg. I have been doing more research about the bands as I have to admit I didn't know as much as I could have before. I am getting the ap-s next as the midland is not really used by Canadian doctors where I will end up so I need a doc who can help me with fills etc instead of coming back to Korea.
Chaos- the erosion wasn't bad I didn't really have any pain. The removal went fine that was not very painful at all. Even if it was I couldn't tell because I had lipo as well and that pain masked any other pain I could have had. I am 2 weeks post op and I feel good. I haven't gained any of my weight back and I am still eating relatively small meals.

My doc says one week liquids then one week mushies etc.
As for the surgery banding was painful but un banding was more painful because I had lipo done at the same time when I got my band taken out. It will be interesting to go through everything again as I get banded on Saturday and must go back to work on Monday and only one of my co workers knows about my surgery.
This time around I will have protein shakes for the liquid diet though last time I didnt have protein powder ( it is hard to find in Korea). I am already all set with powder soup at work for lunch and oatmeal for lunch when I am on the mushies phase.
Since being banded I have done so many other things like the band being removed, and a few sessions of lipo that I am kind of used to the pain by now though I am still a big baby about it and I hate needles more then ever. I can't wait till I can have a normal life again at my goal weight. Only 20 lbs away

Do you have any photos of your tummy tuck scars? I am considering getting a tt but worried about the scarring. ALSO how long after your tt did you return to work?

hey girl! I have been looking for u online to update u on my lipo. It was soooo easy! I mean the first 2 hours were brutal but I stopped taking pain meds at 2 hours post op and could have gone home but stayed for the aircon cuz its so hot and I dont have aircon at my apt. Though my legs are swollen I can still feel a difference walking. It is amazing! I will post pics once I get home. p.s your photos look AAAMMAAAZZZING!!!

hey! My rebanding went ok. It was more painful then the first time but i survived and was able to get back into my old routine sooner. I went back to work Monday with very little problems.

Hey! You posted on the forum a while back that you were doing lift and implants. Did you do that yet? I was going to get a lift then my doc said no now he says yes so I am going for a lift and implants in 3 weeks. Just trying to chat with others about it

How intense was your tt? Did your doc touch only your skin or your muscles too? My doc seems to think I can have a tt and go back to work after a few days. I usually dont take time off for surgery ( even my band surgery). I always go back to work not even 2 days post op. I am thinking I can stay home a max of 4 days before having to go back to a desk sitting job. In your experience what do you have to say?

oh my gosh 3 weeks of liquid diet? You must have lost lots of weight by now! I think it is a great idea to be on liquids that long because it helps your stomach heal more.I am so afraid of erosion again I am going to try to do 2 weeks of liquid diet then 2 weeks mushy etc just to be safe. I am getting a different kind of band my second time around too so I hope it agrees with my stomach more. I'm glad your enjoying my blog. It will become more band related again next week. Only 5 more days till surgery

p.s it sounds like you have the SAGB VC ( swedish band model before the Realize C band used in the states)

Yea I remember speaking a few times before. I changed my name too it used to be Jenkins150. My name is as it is because alien means foreigner in Korean. Since I am in Korea it seemed to fit. Have fun with Dr Kang, I am at his hospital right now recovering from my surgery he told me he would be visiting China but I wasnt aware it was to see you. Take care
