  1. Hi all! I was banded on October 19th and so far Im about 25down! But recently I am finding that I am able to eat more food! Also I am more hungrier! Is this normal?? Im hoping this will change when I get my first fill tuesday!!! My weight lost is at a stand still! Maybe because Im eating more!!! Someone help!!!! Hungry Kellee

    I promised myself I wouldnt post any pics until I noticed a difference! Im down 23 pounds and was hoping it would be more, UNTIL i snapped this pic today and remembered the pic I took the 4 weeks ago! I think I see a difference! Im on my way!

  9. Hi All! I am currently on Mushies and I recently got on the scale (silly me) and notice I gained 2 pounds! Is there a certain amount of calories I should be eating on this phase! I am surely missing the days (2 weeks ago) when I was stuffed on chicken broth and couldnt finish the whole bowl! I am starting to become a lot more hungry to the point when I wonder if my band is correct (silly I know) Im so worried I am eating too much! Should I be staying under a certain amount of calories??? I cannot gain anymore weight! Please Help!:thumbup:

    Holidays!!!!!!! Geeeeeeeez!

    Hi all!!! Ok everyone....I got Banded on October 19th (yea me). Im doing pretty good so far! But I am soooo worried about the holidays! Now I know I can eat some things by then but how do I control myself around all that yummy foods??? is ok to eat some things but of course in moderation?? What foods should I run from?? what about alcohol? How soon should I try a simple glass of wine??? Please help?? I wanna be able to enjoy the holidays but its not worth my size 10 I wanna be! lol
  12. Hi all!! I was banded on the 19th and just getting around to the hang of things! I had not felt real hunger until today!! I was in Target in the cracker aisle (yummmmmmm) and I knew I was hungry but all of a sudden I felt a sharp pain that felt like hunger pains!! They wrapped around my back and they were terrible!! Im still on the full liquid diet which has been ok, but I was starving!! I understand what I can and can't eat, but How much am I supposed to be eating??? How do I know if Im eating too much or too less??? Please help!!!!

  14. Oh wow! You are getting a lot of protein in! Im only doing one protein shake!! Maybe I should do 2 or 3! But I just hate them! Im just using the powder whey protein(vanilla),half a banana, skim milk and ice! maybe thats why im so hungry!! I just dont wanna overeat!
  15. that advice helped!! what do u eat on a daily basis! let me give u my diet today Breakfast---protein shake snack--cream of whear lunch-mashed potatoes(small)and pudding snack yogurt By 530 I was starving!!!!!!!!!!! isnt that a lot of food??

Things are ok....still some pain but I returned to work today so Im getting used to things!Now I will be honest, this challenge is hard but after being overweight all my life, I had to make a change! Its only been a week and I have had to change my whole routine! Its so easy to pick up a snack and eat, but so hard to plan a healthy meal. You are doing the right thing doing your research! No matter what people tell you, this is not in anyway shape or form the easy way out! You can do it girl!!!

    5 Days Post op.....2 pounds down??? Huh?

    I told myself I would burn my scale because I knew I would drive myself crazy! How is this possible that I have barely been eating (well drinking) my chicken broth and Ive only loss 2 pounds??? Im hoping thats gas or something because how can this be possible? I have lost more weight when I actually eat....Im trying not to be discouraged but I mean really, Is this normal?
