I am about 6 weeks post op and this morning i noticed that i GAINED 4 lbs!! I have my 1st fill coming up at the end of the week. I have noticed that i am hungrier and can eat more. I am trying to stay away from bad food but still. Is this normal? will the fill help?? Maybe i should hide the scale and focus on how my clothes fit me. I am trying to walk as much as i can, taking the stairs, parking far away...all that.:mad2:

ooh.. no!! i have my 1st fill on thurs. Now i am nervouse!! i hope that after i will keep on loosing..for the last 10 days i have been the same (-18lbs) and i have been eating a little more.

I am also hoping to get to the 100's. I dont expect to ever be considered "skinny"...besided my husband would probable be unhappy if i lost to much weight. Are you working out? what is your calorie intake? im asking cuz i have been feeling hungrier in the last 10 days... and i know i am eating way to much..specially in the latr afternoon. I have my 1st fill coming up this week i hope it will help.Weight is coming off very slowly. Good luck

Hi...i know exacly how you feel!!1 i am about 6 weeks post Op and i have my 1st fill on the 19th also!! My husband and i dont go out alone much since we have 3 small kids, but when we do get a chance we used to go out shopping and to lunch...love cheesecake factory!. But ofcourse all this has changed... last time we went out shopping i could tell my husband wanted to stop and eat, but instead he drove through a McDonalds and bought himself some food and munched on it on the way home... i was trying to not focus on the smell of fries!! when i got home I drank a shake, but i felt upset. I realize that from now on when i go out with my husband, mother or friends i cannot focus on "where are we goingt eat". I need to find another focus!! WE made the right decision we just need to keep ourselfs away from temptantion till our brain get used to the new way fo life!

i have the same problem..i was never able to drink down those thick, chauky drinks with out gagging. So now i am sticking to Carnation Instantd Bfast and Kellogs shakes, they dont have as much protein but i can drink it with out gagging i just have to drink alot more of it.

take a deep breath...cout to 10 if you have to. But remember that you are the one with the band not her. Im sure she wants the best for you and doesnt realize that loosing extra weight does not happen in a day, a week or a month. Just do what you need to do! best of luck

Great news!! just wait till summer and you can walk around without jackets ... you will be getting compliment anf looks in a daily basis. In six months i home to be 50lbs lighter... my husband is starting to notice, that is good. I just wish he would stop eating ice cream in from t of me lol Keep it up!

where r your ports located??? mine is about 3 in from my bellybutton... im having my 1st fill on the 19th and im nervouse...specially ready your post OUCH!

Funny... I have also lost 18lbs... and i also have my 1st fill on the 19th. counting down the days since i also am feeling hundry faster. I have stayed away from breads but i have had pasta and rice (my vice) i have had 2 episoded where the food got stuck... Oh Boy! that is not good. I can imagine how it will be once i get the fill. Good Luck. My goal for new years is to loose a total of 35Lbs!
