On the weightlifting, my husband uses a protein drink that is low in carbs (like 3-4grams) and 24 grams of protein per scoop after he lifts. It's the only protein I could tolerate. Anyways, enough about my ramblings. I know that if you drink the protein supplements mixed with skim milk, or water, it would be no different than drinking water. At least that's the consistency of the one protein we use. I lift but more for toning, not mass building.
