I was banded on Dec. 16th. Started with an empty band too. I was hungry for a long time. Now I've had 3 fills and have some restriction. It's been wonderful!! I'll be your friend...of course!

I guess around 10 or 11 by now. Because of what happened I don't think she'll live to be very old. But she keeps hangin' in there.

She almost died from "fatty liver". I had to save her here at home giving her IVs and shots. The vets in SoCal are very expensive. We choose to nurse her at home. Now she's fine and that was like 5 years ago. So, she lives on...thus the picture for my photo...by the way her name is Boo.

Isn't wonderful to not have food at the center of your universe anymore!!! Restriction is still good. Too soon to tell if I'm "there" or not though. Just enjoying sweet restriction for the time being.

Right now am on mushies but yes, I am noticing a big difference. I tried scrammbled eggs last night because I was starving and it was hard to eat. Barely got anything down. Time will tell....

How many ccs do you have in what size band? Just curious. I am at 6ccs in a 10 band as of this morning's fill.

I read what you wrote on Leigha's visitor message board. That is amazing! Onederland is right around the corner for you. I think you've got it!!! I'm getting my third fill this Monday and can't wait! I've had some restriction with this second fill but not quite there yet. Wish me luck...

Hi Leigha, I'm getting my third fill this Monday. I had some restriction with the last fill. Lost 2 lbs in 2 weeks, so far. The first week was greata and now I can eat just about anything. Although, I do take smaller bites, chew, chew, chew and smaller portions, by choice. I'm full. Can't wait for Monday. Maybe I'll hit my sweet spot! Who knows? You are sweet to think of me. Hi Gorda, Yes, I asked for an aggressive fill and was granted one. She was unsure about it but I convinced her. If you have no restriction you shouldn't wait until the end of March (if they have no appt. until then tell them to call you if there's a cancelation..make them take your number and be firm). Call your doctor and tell them that you have no restriction and you want another fill. When was your last fill appt.? You probably have to wait at least 2 weeks between fills, but anymore than that is rediculous!!! I encourage you to take control of the situation and be more aggressive with getting this under conrol! Let me know what you decide.

I just wanted to tell you to hang in there. I know it's very discouraging now but like you said (quoting Elfie), "This too shall pass." Before ya know it we'll be at our sweet spot and loosing those pounds...take care and hugs to you....
