.... before I had restriction. But finally in July I had 9.75cc in an 11cc Realize band and I have lost a total of 60 pounds. I had to have an unfill for a medical procedure and gained some weight back, but now that I am at 9.75 again, I have started losing. So, it might take awhile before you get to the right place, but once you do, it will work. Just give it time.

I was just reading your thread in Post Op msg board about the SB diet and how you werent losing yet... Just wanted to put in my two cents... Hope it comes out the right way and encourages rather than discourages! I was banded just over a year ago, Nov 18, 2009. I didnt lose any weight until July really. I lost about 10 pounds pre op, maybe 5 pounds until July. It took ALOT of fills.

And thanks for the picture comment! I wish I was 20 something My whole life I have always looked younger, in fact my first day of teaching, I was mistaken for a student... but ever since I've had my son, I feel like I look so much older..... so I appreicate the compliment!

Christmas was wonderful - thanks for asking! I have lost and gained the same pound in the past month of mushies. Got got my first fill this morning. Liquids for 2 days, then a day of mushies, then real food FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE NOV 8! Wowee!! How have you been?

thanks so much! hurting lots, but hoping it gets better soon. gas pain not so bad, but the stomach muscles are KILLER.

I am also going through Bluepoint in Woodbridge. Dr. Halmi did all my pre-op stuff, but Dr. Mathemawork is actually doing the surgery.... which is only 2 days away! Starting to get nervous!

I can't believe it's only 12 days away! I start Optifast on Monday. I was supposed to do it for 2 weeks, but since I am 2 hours from the dr, he said I cant just pick it up at my last pre-op on Monday. But I started to the gym last week and have been watching what I eat, so I am losing a little already. How about you?

awww.... thanks so much for the compliment! You are getting so close - less than a week. I am two weeks from today and even though the process took forever, it got here so fast. I am so thrilled!

hey there! im so excited... and nervous! 3 weeks from today. WOW! I do have to do a pre op diet, optifast. but i dont have to do it until nov 9 when i have my final preop visit, so 9 days of 800 calories of shakes and protein bars.

just ran across a post of yours in "never again...." and noticed the picture.... i am such a HUGE (no pun intended!) NKOTB fan! My sis and I went to 3 concerts this past year and we got to be up at the stage at the second one and touched them and all that good stuff - haha! i see today is your surgery date, best of luck - hang tough - hahahahahahaah

I see you just had your surgery a few days ago. How are things going? I started the process in Richmond but ended up in Woodbridge because of insurance. Who did you use?

Ive been looking at your pics and reading your posts. Have you had the surgery yet? When are you scheduled? What's your starting weight? I'm 3 1/2 weeks away and counting..... 293.6 this morning. Can't wait to get pictures up here!
