  1. I got my LapBan on April 11th. I have now lost a total of 77lbs since I started the process. I get my first fill on Tuesday May 10th. I can't wait!!! Luke
  2. I was banded on April 11th 2011. I just got off the liquid diet and have lost 23 pounds while on liquids and 75 pounds since I started the program. I get my first fill in a week.

  5. I am the same way. I was banded on April 11th. I will be getting my first fill on May 10th. The first couple of days after surgery I noticed some restriction due to swelling.

  7. Well I got banded on Monday April 11th. 11 more days of liquids then I can start adding real food. Ive lost 17 pounds since I started liquids 2 weeks Pre-Op. May 10th I will get my first fill. Luke
  8. I watched the show I think they could have had more info on LapBand. That girl that only ate the yogurt had been banded 6 months ago. There is no way she would be healthy on just that amount of food.

  10. I am currently on day 8 of my liquid diet. I'm just going to tell you right now it SUCKS. But I know I have to do it. The 2nd day was actually the hardest day for me so far. I usually drink 4-5 Protein shakes, sugar free Jello and Sugar Free pudding. But don't forgot to drink plenty of Water. My wife has been very sweet in trying to do the diet with me but after the 2nd day she had to eat.... lol
  11. With my Height my doctor would like for me to be around 165 but my goal weight is 200.
  12. I am finally starting to feel excited about my Surgery. I have 7 mores days on this liquid diet.
  13. Well my LapBand Surgery is 2 weeks from today. I started my 2 week liquid diet yesterday. I have been trying to have something every 2 hrs. I've been drinking Protein Shakes, eating Jello and puddings. I just finished a Protein Shake but I am starving!!!!!! I feel like I could eat the computer if I could.... LOL

  15. My Doc told me 2 weeks on liquids and then the day before my surgery to do clear liquids.
  16. My surgeon told me he usually will not do the LapBand on people with a BMI over 42. But since I don't have any current medical conditions then he didn't have a problem giving me the LapBand. Luke

  20. I finally got all my stuff done and have been approved by my insurance. I start my liquid diet on Monday and get banded on April 11th. Luke
  21. Everyone is different when It comes to weight loss. I have around 150 pounds to lose right now. The Doc told me I would lose almost all of it with Gastric and about 90 pounds with the LapBand. I still think with enough hard work I can reach my goal with the LapBand.
  22. My wife is very supportive. She is only worried because its Surgery and things can happen.
