I'm Starving

Well my LapBand Surgery is 2 weeks from today. I started my 2 week liquid diet yesterday. I have been trying to have something every 2 hrs. I've been drinking Protein Shakes, eating Jello and puddings.

I just finished a Protein Shake but I am starving!!!!!!

I feel like I could eat the computer if I could.... LOL

Funny! I felt the same way today. I dont really need to do a pre-diet, but wanted to start one anyway. I started today with Protein Shakes and no carb things like chicken and cheese in a lettuce wrap. I am going to work my way to doing all Protein shakes about 10 days to the surgery. We will see how it goes. I put some timers on my phone for every three hours and am trying to eat at those times only. I am also trying to eat only 4 oz at a time except for the protein shakes, which i think are 8 oz. The nutritionist said that we should be trying to eat less because right after the surgery you will only be able to eat about 2-3 oz at a time and then gradually build up.

Its soooo hard sometimes...

I feel your pain. I am 5 days post op only clear liquids. It's been almost a week since I've had "real" food. During dinner tonight I had to leave and go for a walk There are only so many ways to be creative with popcicles, jello, gatorade, water, crystal light, juice etc. Good luck.
