How big is your Woody? and what kind of jokes do people make about him? I can't see making jokes about a sweet dog. All I have is a Hamster. I've thought about getting a dog. Well, that's kind of a nasty thing to say. As somene who is married to a bypass patient and is considering one for myself, I have to say that what i have observed is totally diffrent from what you are describing. "Tons of hospitalization"? I doubt it. "Increased depression"? any surgery does that. you're painting a picture of bypass that is very,very incorrect. You need to get your facts straight.

The Czar concept actually originated in the Nixon administration. And it needs to be done away with. At least the name portion. It's stupid, and it provides an unwelcome connotation. I am NOT an Obama supporter, but I was not a McCain supporter either. I didn't think there was ANYONE in the running last year that actually made sense in this day and age. Actually, there was one person who made a lot of sense, but dropped out early on. But....business in Washington will continue as usual. Regardless of who is sitting in the Oval office. Miss B.

When you say "studied", what exactly do you mean by that? Read some brochures? Went to meetings? Read the Torah/Koran/Book of Mormon/etc? Just Curious.....

I had my appendix out a few years ago, and they had me up and walking around within a few hours. I think that is standard protocol for a lot of surgeries, to get people moving.Angie

you know, Im not banded yet, but this was going to be one of my first questions. How long until "normal" returns?I suppose that it would depend on the individual....and i guess the doctor.I have a pretty physical job, and Ill have to plan my surgery so that I can take enough time off to recover.Angie
